  1. If you patch your Trainz 2010 to 44088 thr latest patch then you wouldn't be having these problems it eliminates Native/Compatibility mode which has Trainz run smoother.I'm just having problems with the R-62 other than that his trains are error free its just a shadow mesh but thats not an issue.

  2. You need to patch the hell up.Listen to me closely

http://download.ts2009.com/patch/42203_to_44088.exe <----Thats the patch download it

when its done CLOSE ALL PROGRAMS,DISABLE ANTI-VIRUS and INTERNET

RUN the patch and DO NOT OPEN ANY PROGRAMS or PRESS ANYTHING if u do the patch WILL be DISRUPTED and you will HAVE to REINSTALL Trainz ALL OVER AGAIN!

The patch will take at least 1 hr 30 minutes I patched straight from 42203 to 44088 and it took roughly almost exactly 2 hours.

All you are doing is downloading 1 patch. When its done MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CLOSED besides the patch INTERNET OFF and ANTI-VIRUS DISABLED and let it do its job!

  4. OOh thats why i dont have the latest patch i tried to download it but the Patch wasn't extracting can anybody help me with that?

    Ok hold up!!!

    1.What is your Trainz Build?

Once you tell me that I'll link you to that and give you further instructions. You can find out your build by simply double clicking the Trainz icon application and on the bottom right it will tell you.

  5. To make Magicland's Trains work you have to enable compatibility mode for them to work right.

To me the same thing happens i download everything but it says its faulty but it works fine.

If the train appears in the railyard section and you can drive it it might be just a bug

and finally some of Magicland's trains have dependencies that are not on the DLS.

If you have any more issues or problems i strongly recommend ou go to the Auran Forums and ask for help there. :P:)

You don't need to if you have the latest patch 40488

  6. I personally think this should be 1 whole BIG order obviously replacing over

    200 R-32's

    50 R-42's

but by then th 46's will be about 40 maybe older.

Like some people said they can replace(as in retire) most 46's and have enough sets go to SIR to replace the 44's. Then possibly 5 years later or sooner another order will have to probably replace the 46's out in SI.

So 5 yrs from now 46's will 40 and the next car class to retire in the (:P division should be the 68/A's in about 15yrs or so.So in between that another order will be in place for the 46's going to SI.

  7. During the days of the redbirds, there weren't any other options besides either changing the signs or leaving them and hoping riders knew where the trains were going. And if I recall correctly, someone here said that sometimes, only the first and last car (and sometimes the C/R's car) were changed to the correct reading.

Thats a similar situation with the (:P 95% of the time the entire consist has the incorrect northern terminal some may say 145th some say Bedford I don't ever recall seeing an entire (:P train with the correct terminal.

  8. Why should train signs even matter anymore in the IRT I bet a blind person can figure out their destination with the new countdown clocks they even feature re-routes so if I'm at Union Sq and theres a (2) coming it won't say its a (5) it'll be correct.

People will have to LISTEN to announcements more then to avoid getting on the wrong train en-route to the wrong destination.

Didn't the Redbirds have the rollsigns for a few decades on the (2)(5)? I know there weren't digital signs at the time for the IRT but how was that handled?

  9. (N)ot bad for a rookie.I recommend you use the track straightner tool for obvious reasons and also I recommend you not use the underground cement tracks unless they'll be used for underground reasons. If you need 3rd rail splines use Jaleel's search "jaleel" on the DLS and things will come up such as trains etc....

  10. If an official Bronx <4> would come into play why not put switches at Fordham to make as an express station

Woodlawn via M track to Fordham then runs via local bypassing 183rd and switching back over at Burnside then straight to 149th.I saw a pic on subway.org with switches thats not currently at Fordham today.

  11. (1). Burger King - Flame Broiled burgers actually taste like real meat! Thicker burgers than McDonald's.

(2). Mickie D's - decent burgers but them seem to get more thin and greacy every year :-p

(3). Pizza - Pretty much anywhere in NYC I would get a slice but will not pay more than $2.50 for 1 slice.

(4). Chinese Restaurant - Only clean ones.

  12. My whole thing is, they've been talking about taking trains from the (6) with this order, nothing has been said about the (4) in all of this recently. That's not saying that it won't happen and I see what 2 Train Master is saying but all I hear is (6) train cars being retrofitted with the CBTC equipment and nothing more. If the R142A Supplements on the (4) go the (7) then thats what happens, I just want to know if that's going to happen.

To me it won't make sense retrofitting every single R-142A the (6) line has b\c the (7) doesn't require that many sets I'm sure the (6) has a couple of tens more sets than the (7).How many cars does the (7) have for regular service compared to the (6)?

  13. Where did you get that from? Just because the sets on the (4) has CBTC doesn't mean that they are going to the (7). We haven't heard anything about that happening. We have to wait and see what happens next.

The R-142A Supplements have CBTC Kits already. So wouldn't it make sense that its safe to assume those will go to the (7).The others don't have that. They're just like any and every R-142A its just 7731-7810 has the CBTC kit.

  14. That's where the misunderstanding is: I am referring to the converted R142A's as R188's and the unconverted R142A's as R142A's. Does this make things clearer now? Only a portion of the R142A fleet is being converted here, so when things are said and done, the R188 fleet will be distinct from the remaining unconverted R142A fleet.

Yes some R-142A's will be converted b\c whether the 62A's go to the (6) or the (4) there are enough R-142A's to cover the entire (7) so its no need to send the entire fleet.

I can say it's safe to assume that 80 R-142A's from the (4) will go to the (7) for sure and those cars are 7731-7810 since that is the Supplement which they have the CBTC kit already.

I'm not sure how many cars the (7) uses but there will be R-142A's elsewhere but the (7) once the conversions are done.

  15. I have a question:

Why is the difference between the R142A and R142S? Aren't both the same?

What Lance25 and Fresh Pond said also to add-on the Supplement sets have the CBTC kit shit(7731-7810) which are on the (4) and will most likely leave and go to the Flu-shing.
