  1. Any word on 4975? The back of the bus overheated and caused a [emoji91] yesterday

That bus is done. Transit won't bother to fix it given its age and state of damage.

Ah so it was a recent move because it was at JFK in the afternoon. Guess the MTA Bus order isn't delayed after all.

Nope. They are coming in right after the transit order is 100%. They are using this bus to prep ops on the 53 for artics.

  2. 5517, 5713, and 5726 are loans to WF and still assigned to GH and all currently on the Bx15.

    Rockville Center fleet status:

    2251, 2261, 2284, 2809, 3153, 3190, 3227, 3233, 3244, 3259, 3260, 3293, 3315, 3331, 3332, 3342, 3344, 3345, 3386, 3387, 3407, 3414, 3424, 4300, 4307, 4309, 4311, 4313, 4315, 4323, and 4329.

Note these RC buses are all assigned to BP.

    -2255, 2261, 2284 back to QV.

    -4010 & 4055 to BP.

    -The only 4300s at BP left are 4311, 4313, 4315 & 4323.

-All WF C40LFs back to WF from CP.

    -251, 254, 256 & 260 are the only C40s from JG left at CP.

    -5998 to CS.

  3. Nope, not buying it. The light blue is painted. Look at the signal light covers, they're light blue. On the wrapped new scheme buses 5364-5411, the signal light covers are white.

No it is not painted. It is a wrap.

You have to remember, on 5364-5411 (minus 5368), those buses were extreme rushjobs to debut the new scheme. Can't use those much for comparison other then that it is a fully wrapped bus.

  4. I've seen this bus and it has a few distinctive features from the rest of the orders, like a newly designed LED headlamps, side cornering lamps and either lights or some type of device over the rear wheel fenders...

Preview photo of 6004, which confirms two things:

    1. They will have the flood light behind the first wheel.

    2. The light blue on the lower half is blue SBS.

*Not my photo. Credit to whoever took this picture*

  5. I stand corrected. I just checked the delivery details and it was in fact delivered to SC brand new. So when the hell did it go to SC? It's been there for a at least 3 weeks or more.

It's actually on loan to JA and it's on the hawk. Lol. Run 001. This could be an indication that it's headed to SC afterwards. However I didn't see it on the transfer list. I could have overlooked it as more moves are pending.

Actually it was out on the E shuttle lol

  6. Why is CS getting LFSA's from Flatbush for? Is Flatbush getting something in return?

More then likely they added runs to the Q44 for the summer, and because none of the even XD60s showed up, they had to borrow buses from elsewhere to compensate for the added service. Let the first 5-6 even buses show up and hit service and those buses will be gone
