  1. What's sad is that the Bee-Line Orion Vs were in like-new condition when they were handed over to the MTA. No rust, straight bodies, everything working. In less than 6 months, the MTA aged the buses 3-4 years. Holes in the body panels, rusting, body cracks...
  2. 4812 ... @ Service Center 7001 ... On the property @ Zerega 4899 ... Rumored to be coming in a different engine
  3. 9134 at ENY, 3157 at FR and 3175 at JFK happened a very long time ago dude!
  4. As recent as its going to get from us.... http://www.ttmg.org/mediawiki/index.php?title=MTA_Regional_Bus_Operations_Depot_Roster
  5. 5822, 5830-5831 has returned to MQ (or will be before days end). 5856-5858 are in 100th St Temporarily. 5859-5962 are at MQ as well. There is NO gaps in buses between 5772-5862 on the property as of this posting.
  6. You have loaner buses at QV and MV so that the older Orion 7 Hybrids can be repainted and decal-ed. This is also why West Farms and Gleason has not fully retired the Orion 5 CNGs so that they can "fastrack" the 8 year upgrades on the OGs.
  7. What I'm trying to picture here is how the transmission fell out period. If anyone has paid attention to the LFS's design, the powertrain is completely enclosed including underneath...If the transmission did in fact drop out the bus, then there is severe damage to the drive train, the axle, 9 times outta 10 the engine and everything around it as there must of been some sort of powertrain detonation that would blow that cover from underneath the bus and drop the tranny.
  8. Told you guys, the MTA is still getting paid from Nassau, MTA is some pimps! Farebox Leases, Bus Leases among other things! MTA still getting that Nassau cash!!!! Should've just left well enough alone, left the MTA in Nassau and just give them what they required to operate. TRUST the candy wrapper is gonna fall off Veolia soon enough and you'll get the bitter ginger inside.
  9. Can someone PLEASE confirm this movement of 22 Buses (6724-6745) to MV from MQ. Credible source made no mention of this move. This move makes ZERO sense to me as MQ did not loose any routes in this pick and MV lost routes and gained no routes...
  10. MNR Shuttles are over. Ended Sunday. http://mta.info/news/stories/?story=465
  11. I D K, but yesterday afternoon, it was next to 230 and 9903 being pre-tripped (across from 5772 with drivers clambering over it). And I did a double take when I saw it because I totally forgot it was there. (And I take it back, it was around 3pm, just looked at a photo time stamp of another photo I took around the time I saw it)
  12. 8798 can't be back, I saw 8798 parked in West Farms next to 230 yesterday around 2:30pm.
