  1. Lol...you like the back seats too? I've recently got accustomed to sitting in the back seats on the Orion 5s in SI. I used to sit in the front where the door is because I wiuld aleays lean my head against the plexiglass window and take a nap. The only time I sit in the front is if the back seats are taken or my B/O friend is driving, so I stay in the front and talk with them. On the low floors, I always sit in the back. I rarely sit in the front unless my B/O friend is driving, which I usually stand next to them and talk. While I don't like the Next Gen Hybrids I do like the fact that my feet sorta dangle when I sit in the back seats on the high part of the bus facing forward because the seats are extra high off the ground. On the Original Orion 7s as well as the Third Gens, my feet meet the ground evenly and don't dangle.
  2. Caught 4888 on the S46 today...rode it from Clove Road to Port Richmond Avenue. I was on an Orion Third Gen on the S54 I caught at Richmond/Hylan and checked BusTime on my phone to see if there were any gaps on any of the North Shore routes, but I checked the S46 and 4888 was heading to Forest/Grandview so I decided to hop on for a short ride. From there I took the S59 to the S79...both Orion 5s. Good way to end my day. I originally was at Saint George at 3:30 to find an Xcelsior and one was getting ready to start on the S51, but then I saw my B/O friend with an Orion 5 on the S74 and I decided to hop on his bus to the Transit Center where he dropped out. So today went pretty well.
  3. Hollister. And I buy the McDoubles because I can buy two of them along with an Arizona and they can hold me for a good period of time.
  4. Umm, for starters, I don't wear Abercrombie. Two, I HATE Big Macs. So yeah, nice try but you don't know me all too well. Thanks for playing.
  5. Yes they may be expensive but that doesn't mean I don't support ordering them for the areas that demands for it, unlike certain parts of the city where buses run every hour off peak and is carrying more air than passengers. Since Riverdale is your new home don't be shocked if the MTA ever orders suburban-styled local buses cuz if it were up to me the Bronx would have nothing but and I'd keep all the Prevosts to myself in SI.
  6. Oh please...the MTA would be better off getting whatever they pleased other than catering to your whim because you like MCIs so much...as for me a Prevost blows the MCIs out the water. I hope we get more of them and push more MCIs out the door. Prevost leads the way!
  7. You can thank me for tipping you guys off cuz of the pic I posted at the fan page...but in case anyone is wondering about the LIB stripe... ...it's been covered over.
  8. What does their loudness have to do with then being "cheaply" made? That's just the engine that makes it loud, not its build quality.
  9. Isn't it obvious, he has a huge man-crush on him. LOL
  10. You want to hear my waist line size? 28 ! And I lost weight...last year I weighed in @145 and now I weigh 140. With all the garbage I eat I don't even know but thankfully I'm active. Like you said sitting down in a chair all day is not for me. I've just about had it with office work. When my H&R Block stint is over on April 17th I'm never going back to office duties again. I'll probably find another retail job to supplement my current retail job. I'd rather be on my feet for the most part anyway.
  11. The same person who loves the Novas is knocking on Prevosts when they're built by the EXACT SAME COMPANY...oh well, have fun in Sewerdale with Brian Slimeturd....
  12. Suuuuuuuuuurrrrrrreeeeeeeeee, suit yourself
  13. Lol...keep repeating that and you may start to believe yourself.... I know...I rode my favorite Orion 5 on the S59 about two hours ago, bus no. 6300. It moves like Jagger lol
  14. I limit myself to how much I intake at McDonald's...I remember ordering large fries but now I order small fries and a sandwich. I burn off anything anyway, since I'm always active and on my feet. Thank goodness, I could be worse....
  15. Yeah ok...and that's the reason why the 1998 and 1999 MCIs are already going out the door whereas we still have Orion 5s and RTS' from 1995 STILL in service, so you can take that comment and stick it where it belongs.
  16. The only expresses I like aesthetically are the Prevosts. The MCIs are boring now, and I'm glad that there's variety to the express fleet at last.
  17. Orion 5s lead the way!!! Certainly more character than a boring express bus. Trololololol;)
  18. I'm going to ask a B/O friend of mine either tomorrow or Wednesday about that. I would like to see the S62 and S46 out of Meredith though. Maybe the MTA should expand that property instead of building a new depot in the meantime. It'd be cheaper by far and in this way the MTA won't have to cram Castleton's routes at Yukon and Charleston, but at Meredith too (basically all the north shore routes at Castleton, and the S51-S54 can go there).
  19. Not entirely sure, maybe something about the farebox needs to be checked. That's my guess.
