  1. Hard to believe a decade ago this week this was the #1 song on the charts. A remake of the classic Patti Labelle song sung by Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and Pink.
  2. Oh yes. When Hip Hop was so much more fun. Notice how back then the bestie boys was basically boys circa 1986/'87.
  3. Shifting gears. A song that My Late Dad loved as a country music fan. It's the classic #1 Pop/Country Song from 1968, "Harper Valley PTA." This singer Ms. Riley puts Taylor Swift to shame.   9. Here a smooth jazz/funk classic from the mid 1970's. This was a song my music teacher would play when I was in 3-4th grade. It was also used for intros/closings for several sports teams/shows such as the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers on their tv/radio broadcasts. "Always There" by Ronnie Laws

  11. Now here a early '90's classic. A then 'kid' Seal and his first international hit circa 1990/'91. Dude is a lucky man marrying Heidi Klum-Samuels.

  14. Here a really old school 'blue eyed' soul/pop classic from the late 1970's. Or every time I visit Montreal lol I still hear like classic. A song my sister still loves as like many in the US first heard/saw this performer on Soul Train.

  20. Here a great song by one of the best rock bands of the 1980's IMO. They so underrated. They are NYC's own "Living Color.(Not the TV Show the Band) Not into 'hard rock' but I love this song. The video is so cool.

  22. I am a huge fan of 1970's R&B/Soul. Listening to this classic by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes featuring a then unknown lead singer named Teddy Pendergrass.
