  15. This one is in memory of Nick Ashford. I am sure old school POP/R&B fans of the 1970's and '80's such as Andrew aka R68, NYCTransitfan, Trainmaster and Joe, remember this husband/wife duo with Valerie Simpson. They are best known for writing smash hits for Diana Ross and other pop/R&B stars of that era. Not to mention they also thier biggest hit single with this hit from 1984 "Solid". Not to mention in the late '90's they hosted the Morning show on NYC's Kiss-FM as well. As well as a cameo in the 1991 smash hit film "New Jack City." RIP to another R&B songwriting legend Mr. Ashford. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWHizpXlnaE
