  6. Hey Garbaldi. You did see I posted a 2011 song that I liked. It's called Don't wanna go home' Jason Derulo a remake of a classic Belfanote song right? Before i hit the sack for bed here a classic from Kenny G. "Songbird'. Great memories of my weekends during high school in late '80's on the NJ shore and one of my first kisses ever from a girl. Night for now and peace out.
  7. Listening to two versions of an all time smooth jam classic. The first and oringal (still the best IMO) released in 1981 was done by Jazz Legend Grover Washington, Jr. and vocals by Bill Whiters(best know for signing "Lean on Me"). The 2nd version is the remake done almost 20 years later (1998) by Will Smith as a reflection following the ending of his first marriage. Although a few others have also remade the Whiters/Washington classic, Smith's version(the one most of you have heard of) IMO is the best remake to date so far. Washington/Whiters classic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oxb4LayC7A Will Smith late '90's remake
  8. Since it's Sunday some 'faith' oriented music. A classic from 2005 from Kirk Franklin. It samples a disco hit from Patrice Rushen.
  9. Lets go back in time to 1976 and the disco era. Here a classic by Dr Buzzard band and the old French slang "Chez Chez La Femme.'
  10. Speaking of 2011 songs, although I am not into much the current music (I like my 'oldies' from the '70's-'90's) there a hit song now I do enjoy. 12. With the summer holiday season and schools from kindergarten-high school about to wrap up the 2010-'11 year, here a classic from the '60's. Loving Spoonful's "Summer in the City." A song ahead of it's time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLdv4a3AVIY
  13. Good choice. I remember during high school when the Berlin Wall and the Communist Block 'revolution' was occuring in late '89, this was sort of the anthem of that movement. Thus radio stations particuarly the old WNEW-FM and "KRock' would play this like crazy.
  14. Another really old school ballad from the '70's. Its be remade by several artists such as The Isley Brothers, John Legend and Mary J Blige. However nothing could top them. For you kids it was featured on the TV soundtrack album on the hit Fox sitcom "That '70's Show." 'Hello it's Me' by Tood Rundgren
  15. Here another 80's classic the new wave featuring band "The Smiths" and Frontman Morrisey w/ "How Soon is Now." For a later generation it's the TV theme to the WB/CW cult classic "Charmed".
  16. And another the #1 '80's slow jam "On My Own' By Patti Labelle and The Dobbie Brothers former lead singer Micheal McDonald. Matter of fact, 25 years ago this week it was #1 song in America.
