I hate to sound like a certain "jabroni" on here but paying over $10 to sit on a city bus for over an hour isn't right. Yes it's public transit and it'd be better for everyone if people could realize that and just ride what shows up without complaining, but that's just not how it works here. We don't need to piss off the Route 9 commuters and put more cars on the road to NY during rush hour.

They wont drive not with gas prices and tolls etc.... I would take a Nabi anyday over driving.

The Ironbound runs are because some of Ironbound's drivers keep calling out (something I'm surprised hasn't hit the news) and Howell & Meadowlands are picking up the slack while struggling to run their own services. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Actually the 95 will be b only a nova unless if a nova breaks down they'll probably us a nabi . Every night they have 5 novas lined up for da 95 for when they pull out in da morning & for the afternoon.

Makes no sense to put the 95 on mybusnow with only RTS's on that route. So far this week no buses showing on the 95 since clever devices are not on them.

They don't have the Clever Devices or they'd show up on other routes aleeady. I don't think it will exclusively run RTSes either.

Well they only do 8 runs in the a.m and the same p.m. So they only need a few RTS's 5 or so.

Hmmm, could be.

 

On another note, the 95 is now on MyBus.

How is the 95 on mybusnow ?  Are the novas set up for that now ?

2 Breakdowns on the 319 tonight as per their twitter. Could've been the same bus involved, but I just bet it's a CL and a good chance 7185 is to blame. Also one on the 137 as well, I was just on that run on Wed night.

 

Bus Route No. 319, the 10:30pm departure from Atlantic City Bus Terminal to the Port Authority is disabled due to a mechanical problem.

 

Bus Route No. 319, the 6:45 pm departure from NY PABT to Atlantic City is currently delayed in New York with a mechanical problem.

 

Bus Route No. 137, the 7:35 pm arrival into New York Port Authority is currently delayed in Lincroft with a mechanical problem.

Most of the other delayed buses were Nabi's with breakdowns. Way to many mechanical problems for fairly new buses..

Has anyone stricken Lakeland MCI D4500 8764 from the roster? It sustained significant fire damage last winter

What roster? Nobody is doing one except on wiki/ttmg  and that has not been updated in a year.

The buses that Community uses are for the contract lines & they are painted in NJT colors.The buses used by ONE  are painted in CUSA colors & they own  the lines outright.

Ok so they keep the fleets seperate then.

I wouldn't think it would matter, since they're all assigned to Coach USA, although the fact that ONE Bus and Community are likely separate entities (for NJMVC and USDOT purposes), unless that changed, it might require some approval from One Penn Plaza.

Got the info mixed up, they are all being sent to Ironbound for some reason. I guess for acceptance.

Question can Coach usa swap buses between ONE BUS and Community 700 routes ? Or do they have to keep the 6500's at ONE BUS ?

Units seen here are ONE Bus bound. Ironbound is currently receiving another set as well. Order WILL end at 6614. A whole bunch of RTSs have been sent to the scrap lot with some at/some more heading to Olympia for NWK Airport Service.

Noticed that 7475 is back in service after being involved in that fire in Old Bridge almost 2 years ago. so maybe there is hope that 7109 does come back after getting caught on fire.

That is so wierd. Well first it is the first time a NABI 416.15 6200 has been on route 84, and last is that it was loaned from a not so near garage.

6236 is on the 84 also.

Aint been around in a while, 7127 is on the 553 right now. Alot of 4500s has been showing up here at ehg lately. 7127 so happened to show up in the early am. Too early for the first 319 to AC and 319 from Newark.

A lot of strange moves even at Greenville garage on a sunday. With about 20 or so buses out on the road there is a MCI on the 126. I know the MCI is not out of Greenville but im sure a Nabi was available.

No, those are/where at A&C. 2564 is still at Broadway.

2565 from Broadway Bus has been retired. There's only one baby RTS left at Broadway Bus.

I guess 2527 or 2528 remains.

I thought they were held for possible superbowl work if needed. Then they started to go in service after it was over.

Something's definitely been done wrong then... nothing about it on procurement at all.

However it happened at least the RTS's can finally rest in peace. Wow 6614 will be the last standard floor transit bus for NJT. The end of an era. I go way back to the Gm old looks and fishbowl days.

 I took a lot of heat for saying the order was going to 6614 nobody believed me. Proof positive thanks.

Up to 6538 was the option. It was going to end even earlier.

Well then what are they going to do with the remaining rts's with no replacements on order ? Orange still has a bunch some IBOA'S still have some too.
