Yes they could have added more during this order if they saw it would be short some. No problem since the line was still up and running to finish the order anyway.

Actually there are still 26 novas left at Orange. 1314, 1328, 1335, 1345, 1349, 1350, 1353, 1360, 1366, 1369, 1374, 1381, 1391, 1392, 1395, 1402, 1407, 1408, 1413, 1415, 1416, 1418, 1439, 1455, 1473, 1514. I think there may b a couple more.

That's why I say they are short 25 or so. But it is very possible that they added 25 more to the end of the order. So if they don't end at 6538 we will see how high they go maybe 6563 that should cover all the RTS buses left.

I guess they're not retiring all the Novas. I just saw 1345 on the 94 not too long ago. I'm willing to bet there's still at least 10 more Novas still being used at Orange.

Not surprised it looks like the Nabi order is about 25 buses short of what is needed to replace the Novas. Unless they added a few more to the end of the order we will see.

Silver Script just said he was on 6461 on the 96 today

So they end at Orange at either 6461 or 6462 since 6463 is at A & C BUS.

The three I saw saw didn't have the strip. Just a sign in the front for the bus card. Saw 6463, 6464 and 6465 in the square.

Ok so they may have started at 6461 I have not seen that one at Orange.

Anyone here know which depot has Nabi's 6402 to 6409 ?  I know Greenville has 6410 to 6429. And Orange had 6401 I don't know if they have 6402-6409..

Not sure if this was mentioned in the past and I'm not going through 142 pages to find out BUT on a trip to Egg Harbor, I saw NABI's 6236-6237 in the garage. I know that's (or was) a roster move because I think those came from Orange. I do have a picture of it BUT to upload a picture and then to wait for approval to get it posted just kills the mood. By the way, to those that work at Egg Harbor...nice garage.

Well Orange has 6460 now on the 29 . Wow they are still getting them. The Jersey City IBOA's were supposed to start getting there buses at number 6454.

Well Orange is getting more Nabi buses then it was scheduled too. It was to stop at 6453 but right now 6456 is on the 94. So we will see how far the numbers go there.

Well if the Nabi list by depot is correct Orange is only to get 1 more bus 6453. But we all know how NJT changes things we will see any day now.

Spotted NABI # 6258 working on the Rt 181 line!

Right now 6450 is on the 21 and 6452  is on the 34. 6447 and 6449 on the 92 also.

So with that said, looks like them Novas won't die

Well if Orange does get up to 6453 next would be A+C bus in Jersey City 6454-6477. Then Broadway bus in Bayonne 6478-6487. Then Coach usa 6488-6506. Then Coach usa ONE bus 6507-6538 end of order. But its subject to change as usual. I think Nabi did an awesome job delivering them on schedule. That does not happen much these days.

Fairview gave Howell MCIs 7531 - 7541, 7609 - 7610, 7781 - 7782.

 

Fairview still has for now MCIs 7785, 7791, 7793 - 7800, 7827, 7873, 7927, 7930, 7998 - 7999.

Looks like the Nabi  order has slowed to a stop. The highest number bus that was mentioned here or seen on mybusnow was 2 weeks ago. And it was 6445 I know its on the 34 on market street right now.  Unless another garage is getting some before Orange gets more. Will see when they start coming in again.

That sounds about right because Greenville got 6410-6429 to replace 5241-5257.
