    Any flooding up there? Some areas are about a foot high here.

    Manhattan recieved nothing compared to what Brooklyn recieved. Those balls of hail looked about 2-3" big here in Bklyn.

    Both the R10's and BMT standards. I'd luv to see the R10's restored w/ the same paint color scheme as the one in the first pic link. As for the DVD's, thanks, they seem interesting. I'll further look into buying one or a couple. :cool:

    I've never been on those official railfan trips or special services. Hopefully I'll be able to make it on the holiday train in Dec. I do like railfanning, but after an hour or so I start to get bored and want to go home. I don't know how some ppl can do it for almost the whole day.

    The train was going SB so the t/o overshot the platform. I think you mistakend the train for heading in the opposite direction.

    Why can't a t/o back up the train. Is it really because he/she doesn't know who or what could suddenly be on the tracks near the rear of the train?

    Yea. Thou I remember another time back in June when a t/o overran the platform at Ocean Pkwy, but again, just enough for the first set of doors to not be platformed.
