  1. I always thought that to be a t/o, you must have some patience. For ex when some t/o's go through a turn they abide by the speed limit but two cars or so before the resume speed marker they put the train into full throttle. Doesn't that affect the rails or flanges?
  2. Try putting them in a closed container. I know I might be a little late.
  3. I was in the last car on the heading N/B when the t/o raced through that switch between Bergen St and Jay St. Everybody in that packed car went flying, I thought the train was going to derail. I mean from the sounds the wheels made as it hit the switch was unforgettable.
  4. Totally forgot about the tourist.

    Thanks man.

  5. Hey. I was thinking of checking out DiFara's Pizza. Is it really worth the bucks and are the lines usually long?

  6. WTH? Isn't the officer suppose to at least tell you first? Some only join the force for respect and gain a big ego...ugh.
  7. and the funniest statement of the day goes to... Joe: I lol once I read this.
  8. lol. I just did it yesturday. I was going to tell the booth worker that somebody stole my metro (yea right, I just didn't have any money to pay the fare) but the line was too long. Their were cops, but didn't spot me since they were near the entrance of the station.
  9. If you're under 16, can you get a ticket for hopping the turnstile?
  10. If the were to run down the Bay Ridge branch, it certainly wouldn't help take the load off the B35. The Bay Ridge branch is a little more than a mile from Church Av.
  11. This shuttle would take a major load off the B35 and would reduce heavy traffic along Church Av. Just getting from Coney Island Av to Flatbush Av on the B35 takes 12-15 minutes during evening rush hour! It should only take 5-7 minutes!
  12. Thanks for the correction. I made a mistake. As for Flatbush and E. 18th, their both valubale transfer points even thou both stations would be pretty close to one another. I just can't imagine having a shuttle run down Church Av and pass such a major avenue.
  13. BMT El via McDonald Av & Church Av 5 car R160 set This route will utilize the Culver El from Av X until Ditmas Av. It will then branch off the el, continue north until it hits Church Av and will then make its way down Church Av, terminating at Kings Hwy (for those of you who don't know, Kings Hwy does intersect with Church Av). Trains will be based out of the CI yard via the switch at Av X. Stops in order from south terminal: Av X B4 B1 Av U B3 Kings Hwy B82 18th Av B8 Ditmas Av Church Av - McDonald Av B67 B35 Coney Island Av B68 B35 E. 18th St B35 Flatbush Av B41 B35 Nostrand Av B44 B35 Utica Av B46 B35 Kings Hwy B7 B35 Here's a map showing a portion of the line from McDonald - Church Av to Kings Hwy (I don't have Photoshop so bear with me) *Note: I forgot to put the station symbol for Utica Av.
  14. Hey man.

Is that your video of the plow train?

  15. I know this is not the thread for this, but those are some sick ass shots (1)!
  16. Two snow plows just ran down the street. The first one was freakin' huge.
  17. This should be intro music for big gurls who try to shove their massive ass into places they know damn well they can't fit in!
  18. 51 x 11 = 561 IRT 60 x 8 = 480 BMT Windows calculator comes in handy.
