I can understand that you are a good student in school. I go to New Utrecht HS in Brooklyn, and I do try my best too, but I do nothing in Spanish and Woodshop (regular classes) to be honest even though I have lessons to do. But what you should worry about the most is your parents. It's too risky to go outside late night by sneaking out. IMO nothing would be interesting in the subway late nights, other but fastrack work, which you could also look for tomorrow or Sunday.

Look, I don't have problems with anyone going out late at night, but if you are gonna sneak out your house just to railfan, then you would be classfied a foamer. As for now, it's better to just focus, and just wait patiently.

This doesnt even account the possible things that can happen if you do that.

Yeah but what If you have Asian parents who are strict (like mine), they're going to get so mad and worried, unless if they don't give any damns. I actually find it very wrong to do that , doesn't matter whether you're a honor student or a good student in school.
