Retiring 1993 orion5 and 1993 RTS

West Farms Depot did not get any bus so they can able to

retire 1993 RTS #8555 - #8561 , #8405 , #8407

or scrapped them. any word what bus will West farms depot

will reicve so they will be able to retire 1993 RTS and 5 1993 orion5

bus.

 

and 1993 RTS #8555 - #8561 , #8405 , #8407 was at

West Farms Depot since April. when Flatbush displaced

their 1993 RTS.

I am just saying when will West farms Depot will get rid

of 1993 RTS #8556 - #8559 , #8561 , #8405 , #8407

and will West Farms Depot send 1993 RTS and displaced

them and send them to (MTA) BUS like to

LGA depot or Basiley Park Depot.

 

They will be displaced with the Orion 5 CNGs and the TMCs are going to MTA Bus. Only the 1990-1991 TMC, 1993 O5 and 1994 PBL TMC buses are being retired, NOT the 1993 TMCs.

the 1993 orions nedd to retire as somone who rides the q20 and q44 many of these buses dont have air condition the display signs are gone specially the back one yesterday i was on a q44 that had the q74 on the back the buses did a great job its time for retirement

They will be replaced before the year is out when more buses arrive from College Point (when College Point loses a lot of local routes to LaGuardia).

This is a little unrelated but does anybody know why the windows on a lot of CS O5s don't open which is bad because of the AC problems and I take the Q44 which is always packed past capacity which makes it even hotter on top of the already hot bus, also why do the walls bulge on certain CS O5s?

I thought that that was the case on College Point O5s; those two garages often lock the windows on the buses.
