N-Trizzy2609 Posted December 22, 2007 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2007 Well we've read the book, saw the 70's thriller and sat thought the crappy *** 1998 version now we've hear a 2008 variant of this hit movie. Talk has been going around but this is what I hear. It will be filmed in the winter and into spring 2008 and will probably hit theaters by November. It will star Denzel Washington and a possible cameo by Jamie Foxx. IT WILL BE FILMED IN NYC! The trains in the film are currently being mixed around. Talk of R-160's and R-143's but MTA might use R-32's and R-62A's. The South Ferry Loop WILL NOT be in the movie. Finally, no trains will be harmed in the filming and no crook will get away scott free.
R1Toasty Posted December 22, 2007 Share #2 Posted December 22, 2007 NO SOUTH FERREY! WTF MOVIE PEOPLE? Although, this might mean that they'll use City Hall... I mean, who associates the 6 with SF anymore, really? ... just don't wreck my beloved City Hall...
sebbieprops Posted December 24, 2007 Share #3 Posted December 24, 2007 I'm excited for it, but I doubt it will compare with the classic (1970's) version.
Pablo M 201 Posted January 4, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 4, 2008 Well, atleast it's filmed HERE in the system. Let me know if they even hit up Culver again if theres still filming going on or anywhere else. Remember "The Brave One" back in '06? Damn I should've sticked around more.
