The Bay Head Express have somewhere to solid to near-solid sets of Comet IIIs. Also, the shuttle has one or two CIIIs while having more and more Comet IV and Vs. Alot of the 3's are in storage at MMC since Multi-Levels now run to Bay Head.

They run to long branch, usually in push mode, i don't think the older diesels can handle the MLV's. There may also be an issue of weight on the tracks. - A

Only ALP-44, ALP-46s, PL42AC, and P40BHs can run with them in service. Funfact: The FL-9s could run with Multi-Levels in service if NJ Transit had them and the E60 as well.
