NX Express Posted January 30, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2010 Due to FDNY activity in the vicinity of Bay 25th Street and 86th Street in Brooklyn: train service is running on the line between the 36th Street Station and the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station in both directions. Selected Coney Island-bound trains will terminate at the 62nd Street Station. For alternate service to and from the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station, customers are advised to take free shuttle buses making nearby station stops in both directions between the 62nd Street Station and the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue Station. Please expect delays in and train service at this time. It must be serious if they have shuttle buses already.
LRG Posted January 30, 2010 Share #2 Posted January 30, 2010 Must be a fire nearby, since it says FDNY activity.
NX Express Posted January 30, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted January 30, 2010 If they had time to send buses, this must be going on for a really long time! I can't find anything on NY1. It's still going on.

Bill from Maspeth Posted January 30, 2010 Share #6 Posted January 30, 2010 With all due respect, did you turn on the TV to check out the morning news, turn on the radio to WCBS or WINS, or even if the first thing you do when you get up in the morning is to go online, link to one of the television stations websites to see if all is well with the world and NYC? There was a fire around 25th Ave. station that claimed 5 or 6 innocent lives.
