EE Broadway Local 18 Posted July 12, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted July 12, 2010 Nothing special, really, mark1447. Just appears to be an amazing weekend of service trims and reroutes due to maintainance.

Abba 132 Posted July 13, 2010 Share #5 Posted July 13, 2010 I've never seen both (A)/© operating via line, between W4 & Jay Sts, at the same time. I think they used to do it more often.Just not as much lately.
bstar1 67 Posted July 13, 2010 Share #6 Posted July 13, 2010 Usually they would stop the service, and make travel thru the line.
PATCOman 196 Posted July 13, 2010 Share #7 Posted July 13, 2010 They probably stop the so that way 3 routes don't run on the local track. The only way to get to the line is on the local track and the last/next switch to the express track is at 59 Street.
EE Broadway Local 18 Posted July 13, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted July 13, 2010 I think the is running this weekend because the and the are still running express, though partial. As of Monday night, the will be express 168th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle and Jay Street-Borough Hall to Euclid Avenue and the will be express 145th Street to 59th Street-Columbus Circle. If this holds up, this weekend the and will provide service between 50th Street and West Fourth Street-Washington Square and there will be Coney Island-bound and trains plus Lefferts Boulevard and Mott Avenue-bound and Euclid Avenue-bound trains at Broadway-Lafayette Street and plus and trains at Second Avenue, Delancey Street, East Broadway and York Street. Even on Saturday and Sunday schedules, this might be interesting with what the running local between 34th Street-Herald Square and West Fourth Street-Washington Square. Then for added fun, Coney Island-bound trains run normal (along the West End) between 36th Street and Coney stopping at 62d Street-New Utrecht Avenue while 205th Street-bound trains run along the Sea Beach line between Coney and 36th Street stopping at New Utrecht Avenue-62d Street. Amtrak7 427 Posted July 15, 2010 Share #11 Posted July 15, 2010 I wonder if they will provide a separate bus Ely-QP-Queensbridge, or just put people on the bus that is running between Queensbridge and Bedford/Nostrand.
bknightshadow45 33 Posted July 15, 2010 Share #12 Posted July 15, 2010 I wonder if they will provide a separate bus Ely-QP-Queensbridge, or just put people on the bus that is running between Queensbridge and Bedford/Nostrand. The shuttle bus will run from 21st Street-Queensbridge to Bedford-Nostrand Avenue making all local stops. It will only run one shuttle buses not two separate buses in past General Orders.
