Were there any peculiarities about 1999 NYC Subway service worth noting?

The differences from service then than service now is:

The (D) was the Brighton Local

The (Q) was the 6th Ave/Brighton Express with all service terminanting at 21st Queens Bridge

The (:P terminated at 21st Qns Bridge on weekends

(S) served it late nights

(F) ran to Queens via 53rd St Tunnel

(G) was a full time local along Queens Blvd (except nights)

Im not sure when it was but during some point in 1999 the Williamsburg Bridge closed for rehab

The entire Nassau St Line in Manhattan was served by an (S) shuttle that operated between Essex St and Broad St

Rush Hour (M) service from South Bklyn Terminated at Chambers St

(J) service terminanted at Myrtle Ave

(M) service from Queens terminated at Marcy Ave

and (Z) service terminated at Broadway Junction (serving stations only east of that point)

(C) service had just been expanded to weekends in Brooklyn

(S) Franklin Ave Shuttle was closed for rehab.
