How Much is Shift Differential?

For NYCTA workers, how much is shift differential? Is it 10%? And you get it from 6 PM - 6 AM as well as weekends. Is that correct? What if you work overtime on a night or weekend? Do yo get shift differential AND time and a half?

Thanks

i thought it was a specific dollar amount like $1.41 an hour or something(not a percentage), and in the case of overtime was just added AFTER time and a half was already calculated. could be wrong though

Well the dollar amount differential is subjective to title and whether or not your @ top pay as well. For me as an S/A Night differential was $1.22, and that started after 6pm-6am and all weekend long. And your right it's added after time and a half is calculated.

Night Differential is between 4.5% and 4.8% of hourly wage depending on title (times are correct). ND is paid while working overtime, but it is paid out as straight time; only the hourly wage will be paid at 1 1/2X.
