Is NJ Transit Bus going to get the buses from NABI to replace the last of the Flxible buses or what?

Yes. NJ Transit ordered 1,145 buses from NABI to replace the entire fleet (except for the MCIs).

I rarely go to New Jersey or see NJ Transit but, are they in service or when will they be.

Not one single bus has been delievered yet. So far, a few months ago, Dallas Transit which would be DART, gave NJT a NABI 416 to see how NJT likes the 416. I forgot the numbers to the bus or know whats currently happening with it.

Once those NABIs start coming in, say bye bye to those Flxibles for sure. Thank Millenium going under and not producing the buses to NJT for the replacement of the Flxibles and keep the Flxs a while longer.

I happen to like them Nabi buses. I think they look better than the new flyers and the older orions.

Hmm...I'm not a big fan of NABI. But I have to wait til NJT actually starts getting them for me to give a right judgement and whether I'll really like them or not. So far, I'm not really liking them, that might change though.

I was so shocked a few weeks ago to actually see the new D's in Cumberland Co. on the 553 line I only saw two 7180-7181 they are beautiful! I'm still a huge fan of the 4000's but the 4505's were quite a head turner.

The Eagle era for NJT was such a rememorable time for me, I can still hear the roar of their engines in my head, does anyone have any pic of any, the last one I rode was 5577 in 1994 I miss them so much.
