Saying Goodbye to Long Island Bus

RTS CNG Command

Recommended Posts

EDIT: My LIRR photos from these trips are now up!

Long Island Bus has officially been transferred to Veolia today, but I explored the county over the past few days to take shots of them. I already posted some in these two threads. This collection is from December 30th and 31st.

So, let us begin with December 30th.

Thanks to Ty and KR for the comments. (BTW, I bumped into FamousNYLover on the trip. He's in the shot of the N57.)

That said, here are the shots from December 31st. Because I was only after the N33, there won't be so much here.

For the heck of it, why not put in close-ups of the signs, too? :)

Speaking from own experience, LIB are screwed if Veolia takes over. Stockholm had Veolia running a couple of things for a while, and they drove them straight into the ground. The subway still hasn't recovered completly, partly due to MTR taking over and making it even worse. Oh well...
