yardlet6 Posted March 2, 2012 Share #1 Posted March 2, 2012 I have decal paper and have put on decals with ink jet cartridges but it starts to run when I put it in water to peel. What am I doing wrong?
SoSpectacular Posted March 2, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 2, 2012 You'd need an inkjet printer with ink that is waterproof. Otherwise, consider getting a color laser printer or don't dip your decals in water to remove them.

obregonmichael5 Posted March 4, 2012 Share #4 Posted March 4, 2012 i would prefer sticker paper from staples (for inkjet and laser printer). it is the easiest way to stick it on anything and put it out. you can search on youtube, "sticker paper", "how to print sticker paper". hope this helps

Novabus 5000 Posted March 5, 2012 Share #6 Posted March 5, 2012 I use a combination of Staples brand label paper along with another 3M product which I get from a friend. As for the decal paper, you have to buy special, inkjet decal paper. Then spray it with a bonding spray and once printed, spray it with another type of spray to keep the ink on the paper when dipped in water. The entire process before being dipped in water should take about 1-2 hours.
