Brighton Local 703 Posted August 4, 2007 Share #7 Posted August 4, 2007 The S79 is pretty busy too. Between the SI Mall and the Bay Ridge-86th St/4 Av Station
nycbusfan 2 Posted August 5, 2007 Share #8 Posted August 5, 2007 Is it first on the list for the Bronx? The Bx1/2 is first for the Bronx.
sebbieprops 0 Posted August 5, 2007 Share #9 Posted August 5, 2007 The Bx1/2 is first for the Bronx. Okay. Thanks for the reply. I've got a feeling that if the Bx1 and the Bx2 were counted separately, the Bx12 would have the heaviest volume of riders.
B35 via Church 10,303 Posted August 25, 2007 Share #10 Posted August 25, 2007 I would stop to think that the B41 is used more than the B46 is.... but then again, since dollar van drivers drive along flatbush much more then they do along utica these days, ppl that used to take the vans along utica, are now hopping on buses... which would explain the increase of runs along the B46 over the past few yrs..... anyway, looks like y'all mentioned/confirmed that for Bronx & Brooklyn.... Staten Island, I would agree w/ the S79... everytime I take this route to the Island, it's ALWAYS SRO.... even during off-peak hrs.... If this route doesn't touch brooklyn, I'd say it wouldn't have 50-60% of the riders it gets on a yearly basis.... as for Queens... hmm... my guess would be the Q46.... either that or the Q43... I get on the B82 along Bay Pkwy. And most of the time the first B6 that comes will be packed but after that they are empty.
