Daniel The Cool 3,773 Posted July 4, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 4, 2008 Make the ( and 6th Avenue and Brighton Local to Coney Island At All Times. Also they will both run local on its Entire route to 205th Street All Times. For Express they should create an (Bx) Stands for B Diamond an express version of the Express everywhere except the Bronx where it's local to Bedford Park. It runs to Coney Island via Westend Local and 4th and 6th Avenues Express. Also it runs express in Central Park West to 125th Street. As for it could go to Ledford Blvd and could go to Far Rockaway All times
7LineFan 256 Posted July 4, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 4, 2008 ( and 6 Av Local... what about the and ? Where do they go? The 6 Av corridor probably can't handle four lines on the local tracks. and Brighton Local... does the become Brighton Express? If not, what about the express? West End... My suggestion, keep the down West End. Don't split up the letters. In that case, with the question above (4 Av), replace with . If the goes to Far Rockaway and the goes to Lefferts, what about Rockaway Parkway?

Orion 27 Posted July 4, 2008 Share #4 Posted July 4, 2008 They really should keep the express and the ( should stay the way it is, but full time and weekend service. Also I would keep the local in the bronx from 5AM-12AM while the runs express 5AM-12AM in the bronx. The would stay as the Manhattan express, while the is only express in lower manhattan full time everyday, as will as being the Brighton Express. There's too much local trains on weekends and late nights as it is.
Pablo M 201 35 Posted July 5, 2008 Share #5 Posted July 5, 2008 Whats Ledford Blvd? You mean Lefferts? Where would the start? Euclid? Hell, just send the to Lefferts. Eliminate the Rock Park Shuttle and make every other train to Rock Park. It might elminate the confusion for people going to JFK Airport and having to change at Rockaway Blvd for a Far Rock . Can just pick up any train.

As for it could go to Ledford Blvd and could go to Far Rockaway All times On 6th ave, 14th and 23rd can sometimes get crowded, but not enough to justify running all 6th ave trains local. Not to mention the configuration of 6th ave necessarily puts the (B)ravo and (D)elta on the express tracks S/B, and N/B the only way to get the (B)ravo and (D)elta up CPW is to go FROM the express tks. The trains would therefore have to cross over in front of each other which causes delays... As for 205th, it can't turn all those trains, that's why rush hour (B)ravos terminate at BPB, besides most of the ridership is off by BPB anyway... currently runs Broad Channel to Rock Park, are you suggesting it run from somewhere along Liberty Ave to Lefferts? I think a better solution would be to Lefferts, to Far Rock, <A> and to Rock Park.

Pablo M 201 35 Posted July 7, 2008 Share #9 Posted July 7, 2008 Make The Run from 168 ST To Rockaway Park, Replacing The No, a more better plan would be to send the to Lefferts and then have all trains down to the Rockaways so that every train serves Howard Beach-JFK Airport. sebbieprops 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Share #10 Posted July 7, 2008 I'd have all trains go to Ozone Park, and all trains go to Far Rockaway. The would be scrapped, and the would replace it, stopping at every station from Euclid to Rockaway Beach.

That is, quite literally, the Rock Park in the summer. So you're really just changing the designation; not hard to do really, as the sign still exists on the R44s. The Howard Beach one should have an , and the Prospect Park one a (P).
MattTrain 3,120 Posted July 7, 2008 Share #13 Posted July 7, 2008 This is rather confusing. The ( and should remain the way it is. As for the and routes, I'll give my thoughts in this one. between 207 Street Manhattan and Far Rockaway Queens only all times. 168 Street Manhattan and Lefferts Boulevard Queens Only All times between 145 Street Manhattan Rockaway Park Queens on weekends and on weekdays, terminate at Euclid Avenue Brooklyn and then travel to Rockaway Park Queens. This replaces this .
