Service Alert

Posted on:7/6/2008 4:00:08&nbspPM

Due to a smoke condition between the Bowling Green Station and the Borough Hall Station, there is no (4) train service in both directions between the Bowling Green Station and the Atlantic Avenue-Pacfic Street Station at this time. "

"As an alternate, customers are advised to take the nearby (1) and (2) trains to and from Manhattan at this time."

The southbound track has had a 10 MPH temporary speed restriction for the last 2 weeks, they've been working on it during the late nights; something probably hit a spark over there.

Hmm...adding to this, a train went BIE in or around Wall St. late this morning, and while we're mentioning the IRT, everything was out on the northern end of the (1) yesterday...took the bus to the (A) home, didn't see a single train between 242 and 207 except for one heading into VCyd...There were switch problems up on there, but no one quite knew where...

Been an interesting couple of days over in A Div..
