1578,1567,1559...

Scrap... 1578,1567,1559.. The last bus is either a 1700 or 1800. The stripe still says "MTA Long Island Bus."

At one point in 2009 I rode 1578 every Monday to Friday. I'm going to miss that thing.

 

That can't be 1804 behind, can it? It looks like the windshield is missing.

It could be 1804, never heard anything about that bus. I also have yet to see 1808 that was reported fixed and then never heard about again.

It's hard to get the number of that bus. The whole bus is stripped for parts, even the CNG tank compartment.

It could be 1804, never heard anything about that bus. I also have yet to see 1808 that was reported fixed and then never heard about again.

 

 

It is 1804; the damage on 1804 was worse than that on 1808, and those 2 were the only Orion 7s to be involved in accidents.

The frame's bent so that option was gone since.

From the pics I saw, wasn't it similar damage, but 1804 was just a bit more severe?

1804 was a LOT more severe, 1808 was just whacked out of shape but its entire left side was still mostly intact!!
