Ty24 Posted November 26, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2012 Scrap... 1578,1567,1559.. The last bus is either a 1700 or 1800. The stripe still says "MTA Long Island Bus."
User Posted November 26, 2012 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2012 Three more 1500s gone, I wonder what the deal with that NG is.
jgood6195 Posted November 26, 2012 Share #3 Posted November 26, 2012 Is that NG #1804?
Joel Up Front Posted November 26, 2012 Share #4 Posted November 26, 2012 At one point in 2009 I rode 1578 every Monday to Friday. I'm going to miss that thing. That can't be 1804 behind, can it? It looks like the windshield is missing.

It is 1804; the damage on 1804 was worse than that on 1808, and those 2 were the only Orion 7s to be involved in accidents.

I guess any hopes on getting 1804 repaired are out the window then, right?
SevenEleven Posted November 26, 2012 Share #9 Posted November 26, 2012 I guess any hopes on getting 1804 repaired are out the window then, right? The frame's bent so that option was gone since.
User Posted November 26, 2012 Share #10 Posted November 26, 2012 The frame's bent so that option was gone since. From the pics I saw, wasn't it similar damage, but 1804 was just a bit more severe?
