It was just re-programmed that way. From what I hear, those signs can display different colors. It's a new sign, you can definitely tell when you see it in person. The Luminator Titans can't display different colors, but the Spectrum (this sign), they can display different colors, even different colors on the same sign program. But, I'm pretty sure the colors are set in the route program. In other words, the program was changed overnight or there may be a certain code required for it to light up purple that was not used by this B/O. It's not Orange...It's Yellow/Greenish...Can't really tell from the pic but up close you can tell it is.
