Access A Ride operations are contracted to various carriers, and as such not a direct operation of the MTA. As such the issue of priority here is non existent. He's asking if being an Access-A-Ride driver bumps up your list number after your score on any MTA exam is calcuated (like how being a veteran gets you a higher list number)

Will-Bx-718 Posted January 2, 2014 Share #8 Posted January 2, 2014 No one gets priority over another person on a civil service exam except for if your score higher than someone else. Like was mentioned before you could be working MTA Bus Company and go into TA/OA bus or in Subways and you'd have to start all the way at the bottom in seniority and in your pension since MTA Bus or Acess-A-Ride don't use NYCERD for their pensions.
