pjbr40 Posted December 15, 2014 Share #26 Posted December 15, 2014 the wrong door incident. there could been at least 12 people gotten hurt badly. i don't know if the media know if they was doing drug alcohol test and maybe a sleep apnea test. the reason why i brought up sleep apena is because these two t/o and c/r was going back and fort so many time and you could dazed out in that scene. Similar to Rockefeller incident. with train derailment, that news came out on the same day as subway meltdown. I think the mta had look into the maintenance book to see what was happening along that line in the last few years. You have to treat the subway like they are flying a plane. If you watched Air Disaster, you will understand how they investigate this in similar way.
QM1to6Ave Posted December 15, 2014 Share #27 Posted December 15, 2014 Does the T/O (or, more specifically, the T/O actually operating the train at the time) need to give indication to the other T/O (who is acting as the C/R) on the shuttle when they pull in to the station? Javier Posted December 15, 2014 Share #28 Posted December 15, 2014 How come there was only one T/O on the shuttle yesterday? Was it because the other 2 were suspended?
Grand Concourse Posted December 16, 2014 Share #29 Posted December 16, 2014 How can there be just one? The train has to run back and forth. Did you bother to walk to the other end of the train to check?
Javier Posted December 16, 2014 Share #30 Posted December 16, 2014 I did, tracks 1 and 3 were not in service and there was only one shuttle on track 4. I checked both ends, there was only one T/O and he had to keep switiching back and forth. BTW, where is the other shuttle on Track 1? I didnt find it @ Times Square or Grand Central? Grand Concourse Posted December 16, 2014 Share #31 Posted December 16, 2014 That is surprising if the same to had to walk all the way to the other end of the train. What time was this?
Javier Posted December 16, 2014 Share #32 Posted December 16, 2014 7:30 PM. They were doing track work on Track 1 and for some reason the shuttle on Track 3 wasn't running and the shuttle on Track 4 had to leave 5 minutes every time because the T/O had to run back and forth.
