Bill from Maspeth Posted April 2, 2015 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2015 All right, off topic, but not off boro. The on topic question becomes when or if NYCT bus and SIR will set up connections. As of May 1, 6 additional ferries will operate weekly. Times are out of St. George, add 30 minutes for Whitehall departure. Saturday: 2:30 AM. Sunday: 2:30 AM, 6:30 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM. Monday: 12:30 AM. One step closer to minimum 30 minute headways 24/7.
Via Garibaldi 8 Posted April 2, 2015 Share #2 Posted April 2, 2015 It only took about 15 years for this to finally be put in place...
S78 via Hylan Posted April 2, 2015 Share #3 Posted April 2, 2015 Last year when they expanded weekend service, SIR schedules were adjusted to meet those ferries shortly after, so this year shouldn't be any different. As for the buses, I think their schedules changed during the summer pick.
Union Tpke Posted April 7, 2015 Share #4 Posted April 7, 2015 I was wondering the same! This a good step to lowering SIR headways!
