February B110 action

Recommended Posts

I decided to check out what is new with Private Transportation's B110. They have acquired at least one bus, and possibly another, from Harrisburg CAT. It is a Gillig Low Floor numbered #2501 (and #2502 might be the other). The rest of the fleet consists of Gillig Phantoms from LYNX. Not sure of the status of the GO Transit and WMATA Orion Vs.

They also have a tracking system (https://www.wbbpbusco.com/track-bus). Just type in "Trackbus" and "wbp". The fleet seems to be 501,502 (Ex-CAT 2501 and 2502?), 520-522, and 551-553.

Yup; there's a cruddy Google map screenshot here, and then I made a Google map here based on the assumption that the bus runs via the highway during regular operation; I guess it runs Vanderbilt/Prospect Park/McDonald Av/Ft Hamilton Pkwy when 278 is really bad.

There is a little variation that runs between 15th Street-Prospect Park (F)(G) and the Boro Park terminal at 18th Avenue, between 49th and 50th Streets.
