mark1447 Posted March 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 2, 2009 Posted on:3/2/2009 8:08:07 AM Due to the inclement weather, there is no express train service. Thank god the and are ok, although sometimes the would run local from 180th to 149th streets, as Ive seen it before on a snowyday, But bad for the Flushing people. Guess if you are between Main Street and 74th, you would take the IND:confused: BTW does this mean that after 1PM the EB to main street will also be canceled? R44 5278 Posted March 2, 2009 Share #5 Posted March 2, 2009 If travelling from Manhattan, take the E/F to Roosevelt Av, then transfer to the 7. It's the best alternate!

As a tip, use the escalator. Walking (or running) up those stairs is not a fun thing to do in this kind of condition (the stairs will be slippery and wet)

Or just use the for Times Square-42nd Street, ((D) for 42nd Street-Bryant Park or and Metro-North Rail Road to 42nd Street-Grand Central!

This is off topic. The 7 not able to run express service was due to weather patterns, not because of saving dough, per se.
