When these were built, their technology was way ahead of their time, with self-scrolling rollsigns, and even ATO (Automatic Train Operation) equipped. ATO in 1975! Man you read my mind, the MTA colors on the R46s really made it look good. Too bad they started to remove it it as part of the graffiti removal program during 1984 and then with the GOH. +1 unselfishprism for the cited retro photos! Good flashback thread are always good.
