7112 now operating out of Ironbound. Saw it idling by Plainfield station awaiting to start their run as a 113 or 114

Just a few things to update on the roster:
At O.N.E. Bus, routes 12, 305, 978, 979, and 981 have been discontinued for years.
At Suburban, I could be wrong with this one, but route 884 was discontinued years ago as well.

But doesn't CUSA use NABI's painted in their livery on NJT routes?
No, the buses they use on NJT routes are in NJT livery. The only ones that are in CUSA livery are for the 24, 31, 44 and Newark Airport Express

Just saw 22066 pulling out of Ferry St for bus training

Looks like the 10 and 119 are gonna be under NJT after all lol

That's an explanation, easy, that merger would complete expending these lines to Newark and Hudson.
Ok, again... how will you accomplish that feat?? Simply saying merge the two and poof ain't cutting it...

Is it weird that I know that NJT has saved a few ALP-44s for a possible return to service?

Any 63,64,68 that that goes into weehawkin and jersey city are supposed to do a 126 into New York. They are not on the paddles but pre pandemic you needed anything you could get.
Howell does the 128 because Oradell is all express in the morning. Meadowlands is tight because they are doing the reverse rush hour on the 166 locals starting at North Marginal and the expresses starting in Leonia, and Bergenfield.
Most 137/139(130,131,132,133,135,136,138) all deadhead to the their assigned lots so it’s easy to have Howell do inbound 128s and 321s. If you look at the PM 128s/321s it’s only a few Howell out there, and it’s mainly Meadowlands in the PM 128 and Fairview 321s. Hindsight it literally makes no sense to have Howell do the 128 and 321 but when you figure out why then it makes sense. Then even help out on the 165 now. I’m not sure if they are still helping on the 112,113,114,116.
Only been seeing Howell help out on the 116, but you never know

Believe it or not .....Howell been helping the 126 in the morning too with a couple trips despite it using four other garages...Mainly towards NYC
I'm aware of that, just using the 128 as an example

lmao this is shifting routes between depots.
Orange Covers the 1?! hell is it appropriate for the 126 to also have coverage from ironbound and hilton they should just give it to the northern garages
Shifting a route like the 72 to Orange is asinine.
Orange and Big Tree only cover rush hour 1 trips, which I question still, if each garage is dealing with a level of short staffing for their own routes.
About the 126, Hilton and Ironbound help out because the other garages in that area are stretched thin. To give you another example, why does Howell help cover the 128?

i really dont know what can you exchange maybe do a split like the 190?
also maybe send the 74 to big tree and possibly split the 72 with orange?
Dude, stop splitting routes up. Orange shouldn't be covering any other routes, not even the 1. The 72 is perfect for Market St.

random proposal split the perth amboy branch off the 48 and make it's own route the 49 ( can interchange it with woodbridge branch if someone wants too)
purpose: for the perth amboy customers not have to be tied up with the woodbridge branch meaning that they dont have to wait for 3 woodbridge buses to 1 perth amboy bus ( or change it vice versa 3 perth amboy buses to 1 woodbridge bus)
There are the Perth Amboy trips that don't serve Woodbridge at all. Splitting a route that was split off from another one really is not a smart move

So it looks like the GO28 previously used 5200s. There's an image of 5226 on the GO28.
My question is - did Orange have more 5200s for the GO28, or was 5200 the only one? How long did the GO28 have 5200s for?
It had a few, since the go28 used to serve University Heights. Once that segment was cut, some of the suburban units Orange had went to other garages.

I hope it ain't true. The hell's wrong with NJT? It's like they can't handle their own bus operations🙄
Could it be a possible swap for the 10, 119?

NJT has the worst GTFS feed I have ever seen. A lot of these lines are named so long to the point it just says EXAC at the end.
and what’s with adding the route to the destination??? Seeing towards 1 Euclid Ave Via Chapel St
at Albert Ave on Esther St is annoying af.The 1 starts/terminates at Euclid Ave & Lockwood St?
