You're not exactly one to trust, but damn that better be true. Clever Devices offers a much better (and proven) solution that also allows for automated stop announcements, countdown clocks, etc. The MTA tried going the cheap route with Bustime and in the end they have a shitty system with shitty software that doesn't work. I saw a ton completely INVISIBLE (on Bustime that is) S61s, X17s and others and we're talking some older buses too, Orion Vs, MCI 102s/D4500s, etc. BTW, I rode 2892 on the X17 and there was N-O Bustime, though IIRC that's a recent transfer from QV so I'll give them time for that one.

Looks like some of the new 2200s don't have Bustime, a few passed by me that didn't show up on the site on the X17 today

When's the best time to catch an Orion V CNG on the shuttle?

I see on the TTMG's most recent roster that Charleston isn't listed as weekday only. Has that plan been canceled? I forgot to check Bustime this past weekend to check.

Might wanna get rid of Academy Perth Amboy's RTSs, those are GONE. Not sure about Hoboken or the others. BTW, when does Meadowlands run trippers on the 139? I've NEVER seen a Meadowlands bus on the 139, even during rush hour.

Don't think I posted this here, but yesterday I threw a bunch of play money off the top floor of the Queens Center Mall and got it all on video. Got some real good reactions, and hopefully I'll be able to get the video up soon. I didn't even realize it, but when I threw the money there was a mall cop literally right next to where I was, and he wasn't too happy. But, I outran him out of the mall and into Macy's and he turned around, don't know what he did after though.

Understand that, I was talking to some of the people who sounded like they thought the buses might stay at FR after it reopens.

I don't see the MTA using a fuel facility that they don't own, but what do I know?

The CNGs can't stay at FR, since when to they have CNG? I guess it would make sense to assign the O5s to FR for now though, since SC doesn't seem to be using them at all on their own routes.

I wonder if the MTA put in a new Clever Devices system or if NICE is gonna have to do that.

Now now, another ride on a 3G before they head to SI would be nice, but i wasn't gonna stand in the very front because some a$$holes won't move to the back and be bombarded by yelling and loud music, so I got on 5106 which had plenty of room to spare. I love how EVERY time a bus pulls up right behind a jam packed one, anywhere, the people always get on the first bus. I mean I understand you want to be on the "leader" bus but the I've never been too far behind on a "follower" unless we hit big traffic, hell a lot of times I'll get where I need to be before the "leader" and I'm comfortably sitting down the whole time.

Waited 20 minutes for a B36 just now and it was a sardine can XD40, so I figured I'd pass it up. Waited another 20 minutes and a 3G and 5106 pull up, passed up the 3G for 5106 since it was a sardine can and I've already been on them at UP anyway. Was a damn nice ride on that bus.

Either what they mean by "unauthorized photography, filming" is taking pics with a tripod or flash or something else that violates TA rules, or photography and filming in general are now illegal.

If they're giving away those Xcelsiors to ENY, the 3Gs should be staying (or at least some of them). Damn I'm mad they're actually doing this move.

Well, it's January, so any updates on FR? I've heard that SC and JFK might still be doing runs on the FR routes until the is restored even after FR reopens. I've also heard that FR might reopen for the winter pick which I believe is January 20th at MTA Bus.
