  1. Extending the is realistic. : Atlantic Avenue-Dyre Avenue/238 Street. : Local in Brooklyn. : Via West End through to Prospect Park. : Via Sea Beach to Coney Island. : Extended to Kings Hwy to supplement the .
  2. Why not just extend the to Coney Island instead of having that weird train thing.
  3. Piggybacking off of me.... So we can see it, change the permissions to "Anyone with link can see." I need to look at them in detail, anyway.
  4. What service will be on Brighton? *coughextend cough* Also, extended to 207 St with increased headways.
  5. The B49 needs to be split. The B50 is filling the gap that will open when the B49 is moved to Bedford south of Foster Avenue. B42: That may go... B47: If you read the rest of my plan, you would know that i'm taking the B7 off of Kings Hwy. The B47 has to be split. (If you say to leave as is, why are you suggesting changes?) The B40 is there to replace service on NY Avenue. Noticed you had nothing to say on that....
  6. OK... Atlantic Avenue-Prospect Park on the (B)/(Q) is closed. Trains can stop at Atlantic Avenue & Prospect Park. Have Fun!
  7. I'm not going to attempt to insert periods here, so I'll assume it's a bs rant.
  8. 1. Feeders everywhere: No. 2. Grids are SIMPLE, but they don't accomplish a purpose. They require people to make 4-5 transfers instead of making 0-2.
  9. Look, alright! No subway route pushing on this thread. Anymore of this, and I'll ask a mod to close this thread.
  10. The B74 is a feeder from CI. That will not work, and is not necessary. Enough with the random ideas.
  11. I have also deprived you of your status.... First, I said no more ideas in this thread... Second, BM1/2/3/4/5 service needs to be restored to original levels. Reduced fare, loose headways... what are you smoking? Third, B7: That is not going to get used. The B12 is a east-west route for a reason. Fourth: X27/28: Fine. BM5: The Triboro RX has nothing to do with bus service in Brooklyn. If you care so much about this, make a new thread in the subway forum.
  12. trains run in two sections: Church Avenue-207 St. (Via Culver Exp, skipping Bergen St.) Euclid Avenue-Lefferts Blvd & Rockaway Branches. 15 TPH combined. : World Trade Center-168 Street. 8 TPH. : Court Sq-Bedford Nostrand. Use shuttle buses for Fulton St & service to Bedford-Nostrand.
  13. Was? It is. Take that over to the subway forum...
  14. What about the frequent (and illogical) GO's on the , , and (B)/ ? Sunday service on the express routes will help the riders get "un-screwed" by these GO's. On another note, the area of most concern in some places is Brooklyn's N-S routes. Here are my ideas on this front: (from the Google doc.) North-South Routes in Central Brooklyn B40: Greenpoint, Metro Avenue or Williamsburg Bridge Plaza Midwood, Flatbush Avenue/Brookyn College (The Junction) Via New York, Marcy and Nostrand Avenue. (NEW) B42: Rockaway Parkway, Canarsie Pier & Seaview Village Via Rockaway Parkway & Seaview Av. (Don't ask why this is here.) B44: (LOCAL SERVICE REROUTED TO ROGERS AVENUE) Williamsburg Bridge Plaza Sheepshead Bay, Knapp St Via Nostrand, Rodgers, and Bedford Avenue. (+SBS) B46: Current route. (+SBS) B47: Some buses are rerouted onto Kings Hwy between Avenue D & Howard Avenue weekdays. Other buses operate on Ralph Aveune. Other times, all buses use Ralph Avenue. B49: Bed-Stuy, Fulton St Sheepshead Bay, Knapp St Via Bedford Avenue. B50: Williamsburg Bridge Plaza Manhattan Beach, Kingsboro CC. Via Washington & Ocean Avenues. (NEW, LTD)
  15. That's my question as well. The SAS is shorter than the original subway segment... unions and everything tie things up...
  16. The BM1, 2, 3, 5 will all use RTS Express on Sundays. (If bus is ordered.) Plus, the headways will be 2 hours, so there will only be 4 buses on Sundays.
  17. Personally, I think the BM1 & 2 could benefit from some Sunday Service. Here is my Express Bus Route overhaul: Express Routes X27 & 28: Weekend service restored. BM1, 2, 3, 5: Saturday service restored fully, Sunday service added, 10 AM-4 PM. BM4: No change.
  18. What is just north... anyway... trains turn at Bay Parkway. trains terminate at 86 St, turning inside CI Yard. THE END.
  19. Just as an update to my ideas, I will be posting the Express Bus overhaul soon. Express Bus service in Brooklyn is as underserved and broken as local service. In the third set of ideas, I also agree w/B51 full time restoration.
  20. It's annoying, especially with the girls at my school.

  21. No, i meant you could use a WTF instead of WTH if it was deserving... I don't care, I wan't the criticism. I'm sorry if I came off snobby or selfish at times, I do understand the criticism.
  22. Do you fail to realize that people in Bath Beach want 86th, not Bay Ridge Avenue. That needs to be adressed somewhere. B82: The route is way too long. This is even worse than the current arrangement. B67: WHY? The B32 is quite similar to my B40, but here's what I would change: The circuitous route to Albany is unnecessary. Just go straight down New York. The "B40" can go down Albany instead. From reading your post, it seems like you just want to extend routes everywhere and not actually try to do something to benefit riders. Not to be mean, but many of these ideas, excluding your B32/40, seem just like pure fantasy. This thread isn't for that. OK, this is the last idea in this thread, alright?
  23. I actually can honestly say I have ridden every LOCAL route in Brooklyn, including their LTD variants. I've only really been on the BM2 frequently, and BM5 sometimes.
