  1. Liberty doesn't need any more bus service.. The Q112 is fine enough and there is the in Queens.. In Brooklyn, it doesn't need service as there is no demand for it. Remember how before the 2010 cuts the B12 served Liberty between Penn Av and Grant Av station? It got cut back to Broadway Junction because there wasn't ridership coming from Liberty... Creating the Q68 would just make a long route that would carry air the whole way....
  2. I see where you're coming from.... But No I don't, I think its fine how it is, and although the local and LTD take a different routing south of Rockaway/Guy R Brewer Blvds, they terminate in the same place... Naming the Q113 LTD the Q114 would probably confuse riders....
  3. Oh indeed, i forgot about the south liking country lol... But teens prefering hip-hop mostly is without a doubt correct.. In my school, maybe 80% of the students listen to Hip-Hop and rap and we frequently have discussions (and arguments) about songs and who is the best rapper, etc... In fact I'm listening to some Rap right now Coming from Lower East Side, I was surrounded by Underground Hip-Hop and Rap, which is why I like it as much as I do today
  4. Country is 2nd?? Thats a shock. I don't know anyone between the age of 15 and 21 who likes Country. They all like Hip Hop, Spanish music, Pop or Rock lol..
  5. Nothing should be extended, I agree... The 112 doesn't need limited service, the route isn't that long and although the 24 is really long, I don't think that the amt of ridership warrents limited service...
  6. The song was okay at first, then got annoying really quick... The music video is funny tho lol
  7. Thank god! If I pass my Earth Science regents that i took yesterday (as it is saturday now lol) then Im set for science. I wish I had taken chemistry this year tho, would've been easier for me in the long run... And my school only offers college english (no ap english) and they give you official college credits (same for all APs)
  8. In my school, they told us that you get an advanced regents diploma if you pass 3 math regents, 2 (or 3, I don't remember) science ones, the 2 history ones, the english one and did 3 years of a language... Idk if thats true, but I'm on track to get it if thats the case. Im also taking AP Spanish and AP Psychology next year, and most likely College English in senior year (depending on how I do on the english regents next year)
  9. The only stations I listen to are Hot 97 (97.1), Power 105.1, Z100 (occasionally) and 92.3 (occasionally)
  10. They might be. I've only seen these during rush hours... I saw one today at Queens Plaza
  11. You're really smart, lol. I'm only a sophomore so I haven't taken much regents Algebra - 80 Living Environment - 85 Global History - 96 Earth Science - hopefully in the 90s There is no more language regents so I have to take 3 years of Spanish for regents credit, and I'm taking AP Spanish next year (I'm a year ahead in spanish)
  12. Lesson of the day: It pays to be nice to people, you never know what they have been through, and it makes you feel better :)

  13. Yea, I was told that they grade it immediately after everyone takes it, and finish the next day and Thanks man!
  14. I took the Earth Science Regents this afternoon. It was fairly easy, which shocked me and I got a 16 out of 16 on the performace test so I got a nice head start to a high grade ... My global teacher also stopped me in the hallway and congratulated me and told me that I got a 96 on the Global Regents! (turns out I scored the highest out of everyone in my year, which is about 225 ppl, even better than the honors kids, which is more shocking...) I took it on Wednesday and today is Friday, I'm really surprised that they were graded so quickly, especially with the amount of ppl that took it...
  15. Thanks! The Global regents WAS really long, I breezed through the multiple choice (My strength), but then I got tired, but the essays weren't bad. I wrote 6 paragraphs for both essays so I hope that was enough. I heard that there are ppl who failed the regents because they didn't answer the documents (which is shocking, as they are only 1 point each). The two things in geometry that are hard to remember are proofs (A few regents had a proof as the last question, which is 6 points I believe) and transformations. I took an old regents as my geometry midterm, and I got a 69, but I didn't understand it as well as I do now, so I think I will be okay. And you're a junior?? I'm supposed to be one too, but I started school late.
  16. I took the Global Regents yesterday and it was so easy! Everybody else found it hard smh.. I have Earth Science Regents tomorrow and im worried about it and Geometry next Wednesday and im terrified of that one. Are the Earth Science and Geometry Regents easy? I got 90s in 3 out of 4 quarters of Earth Science, and I did awesome on the performance test, but I'm still worried. I struggled in Geometry the 1st 3 quarters w/ low 80s but the 4th quarter I did amazing.. Should I even be worried? Lol
  17. That could work. Its not a bad idea. On Hollis Ct Blvd, do many ppl board the Q26s? If many ppl don't board there, then it wouldn't be such a bad idea to take Q26s off of Hollis Court Blvd.
  18. Yes you're correct, and yes it would be a short turned Q27 basically that would ease over crowding ..
  19. terminates at 57th St-7 Av runs local in Manhattan and via Montague (to make up for loss of R) and trains terminate at Lexington Av-59th St runs between 36th Street (Brooklyn) or Atlantic Ave (if possible) and 95th St-Bay Ridge via between Roosevelt Ave and W 4 St (if tph isn't too much of an issue) Runs between 61 St & Flushing-Main St terminates at 21 St runs between Essex and Metropolitan Shuttle buses run (free of charge, of course): between Vernon-Jackson and Queensboro Plaza between Queensboro Plaza and Astoria-Ditmars between Queensboro Plaza and 61 St-Woodside
  20. I didn't understand why the Q23 went down Woodhaven, so I would. How would it be routed ?
  21. Jewel becomes a one way after 164th Street, so Jewel-Utopia-73rd Avenue would be the route the bus has to take & my mistake....
  22. Considering that that northern part of F Lewis barely has bus service weekends (as the 76 has only saturday service & the 28 is on it for a short time) that could work... And about the Fresh Meadows part, I am semifamiliar w/that area... They actually could use more service.. The main buses in that area (the Q17 & Q46) are crushloaded in the rush hours (as I have noticed; and they are kind of long too) and for those going to Manhattan, it would be more beneficial to have the bus take them to forest hills than jamaica or kew gardens as it is closer & probably takes less time... But quite a few ppl in that area take the express bus too....If the Q64 should be extended, maybe it could go to HHE/Springfield via 73 Ave & 188 St ; I don't see anywhere else to terminate it tbh...
  23. I see what you are saying, and it does make sense too because the Q31 is a weekday-only route so terminating at a school would work...
  24. I like these ideas. I actually always thought that the Q88 should just be on HHE to L Neck, I never understood why it went to QV... The Q30 gives Oakland Gardens some of the service lost by the ending of the Q75, which is good. The Q26 I already said is a good idea, and doesn't the Q31 already serve Bayside H.S.? Good ideas nonetheless...
  25. The Social Studies Regents, well there's two of them.. (US History & Global History) aren't taken in Freshman Year of H.S., you take Global Regents in Sophomore Year (like me) & you take US Regents in Junior Year, so you can't take it in 8th grade, as you need to take TWO years of Global History, English you take as a Junior & you need to learn American AND British Literature, so you need to study that for 3 years before you take the regents, you can take the Algebra Regents & Earth Science/or Living Environment Regents in 8th grade because you only need to take those classes for a year...
