  1. Wouldn't it make sense to send QVs 6400s to Manhattan for the 3800s
  2. So now Jamaica is losing 5100s to Flatbush.. And in return we get beat up 1996 Novas smh When will Jamaica catch a break already
  3. Walked by JFK this morning.... Lots of buses down... 9114..9138.. 3508... Just to name a few... College Point and Spring Creek sent over CNGs... Only 1 5500 on the apron this morning (5515) I think Things aren't looking too good at JFK smh
  4. 5200s in QV wow I will be on the lookout for them... I just came from JFK Depot The CNGs are all out I couldn't catch one And I knew they were keeping that 5600... With them shifting these Artics around I highly doubt MTAB is getting any of the new order when it comes in but then again we'll never know really
  5. Which leads me to believe that they probably kept 5649... So they are slowly pushing those 2000 D60HFs out.. So we can assume that MTAB isn't apart of the new order of Artics... They must have changed that up recently... It makes sense tho... Give MTAB the hand me downs and TA gets to new stuff smh lol
  6. 563 on Q41 right now Speaking to operator now He says " lots of OG VII's down " at JFK CP sent over CNGs to supplement service
  7. 5649 (westfarms) just seen on Van Wyck Southbound going towards JFK... Repairs ?????
  8. Now I know it's over for that BO... His services are no longer needed... I'm sure let him go ASAP lol There's nowhere he couldn't have not see those signs low clearance smh... Idiot
  9. I don't think there was a thread made for this when I posted this up.... But really I was more so posting this to basically say that 4800 will be OS for a while..
  10. 4814 involved in shooting on B15 around 6ish this evening... Bed Stuy section of Bklyn... Story is just developing more news to come
  11. No on both ideas... The B if anything should be extended full time to Bedford Park Blvd... Allows Exp D service Also I would just simply bring back the V and W The M can go back to Bay Pkwy 4th Ave Local... V goes back to being QBL/6th Ave Local to 2ve... With plans to eventually extend into Brooklyn (provided Culver Line is completed) W goes back to Whitehall St-Astoria And being that the W is coming back to Astoria... the Q needs a new home... Q to Parsons/Hillside via 63rd at QBL Exp... (Till the R stops running into Queens) then is cut back to 71st and Runs Local overnight via 60th St Doing this give QBL the option to run the E Exp overnight or continue it's current local service but now giving riders Broadway access from QBL 24/7
  12. Those stops in the cargo area are serviced by the Q3 and PA... But my plan would also include the Q6... Basically the Q6 would be a 2nd option via Sutphin to JFK It wouldn't hurt Q10 ridership... The Q10 goes a completely different direction... If anything it would lighten the load on the Q3 for those going to Jamaica Ave..
  13. It's not really a new idea but rather finishing up on a project Finish the E train extention into South Jamaica Via Underneath Guy Brewer Blvd up the Blvd to Baisley Blvd Rochdale Village With a small underground yard underneath Rochdale Complex With stops at 109th Ave... Linden Blvd.. and last stop Baisley Blvd I would've also sent the J via underneath Jamaica Ave to Belmont Park....
  14. I say send the a Q7 via 150th st to the Post Office... Send the Q6 to Terminal 5
  15. I've heard that service past the Mall (going towards Mahattan) doesn't warrant Artics A lot of the ridership is between Main St and Queens Center Mall... After that it dips So to add 60 footers would increase headways and make a headache that's there even worse... So for now standard buses will do
  16. The Artics are mainly assigned to the Q10Ltd... They have been known to appear all routes EXCEPT the Q6.Q8.Q9.Q41.Q40 and Q60... However the very first Artic to touch Queens was on the 113 in 2007... Just alil history lol
  17. It would be nice but it's not fair to the Nassau riders whom the route was created for Now if Nassau pushed for there buses to drop off and pick up both ways in Queens then it's a different story But we all know that's ain't happening
  18. Lol smh just wait till it's 90 outside and they have to run that AC... Then they'll really be dropping like flies There WILL be some angry riders in Nassau this summer
  19. I always thought the heat put more stress on the engines especially CNGs so this colder weather they should be operating better so for them to be crapping out now isn't a good sign... Orion's usually crap out in heat... Watch this summer NiceBus lol Watch how many of those Orion V drop
  20. Why would you combine Nassau Routes with Queens Routes... If those buses were to drop off in Queens can you imagine how long that run would be... Imagine a N22 making ALL stops to Hicksville or an N6 making ALL stops to Hempstead lol smh it's just not feasible to do such a thing The way it's currently set up is perfectly fine... NO drop off in Queens Eastbound No pick ups in Queens Westbound...
  21. I'll be surprised if they even make it to the summer... RIP Orion V CNG Only place to catch them NOW would be NiceBus Those aren't goin anywhere anytime soon
  22. Smh why are you extending the Q60 ????? Why are you extending the Q10 and Q112 ????? All these extentions arent needed... Do you know how much up roar you would hear from all these moves if they actually happened smh... The Q34 should run later hours if anything... Every other line mentioned I won't even touch... Think of some less drastic moves
