All this bickering over the Q27 and Q77.... IMO extending the Q27 to Merrick would be overkill although I get the logic behind the move... It wouldn't make the Q77 obsolete... It would just give people the option of wanting to go to Flushing directly from Merrick Blvd w/o having to pass thru Jamaica Center... Maybe a NEW route which could be similar to the Q27... That can connect SE Queens and Flushing w/o going thru JC is needed.... I have another idea now this might sound far fetched but if you look on the Queens bus map... It will make sense.... Q111 to Green Acres.... Instead of terminating at Francis Lewis... Make that right onto Francis Lewis.. Proceed down to Hook Creek Blvd.. Left on to Hook Creek.. Hook Creek up to Sunrise Hwy.. Right on Sunrise and follow Q5/85 into Mall... I think 3 options to the Mall would work better in the long run Especially for those who live off Guy Brewer.. My next idea to send the Q7 to the Post Office in JFK... Right turn on 150th St... Take that str8 into Cargo Area.. Left turn on 150th Ave.. Go under JFK Expwy... Left turn on to N.Boundary Rd... Str8 to Post Office Send the Q6 to terminal 5 instead of Post Office

I think the plan orginally was to make CP an ALL Express Depot.... But doing that would have put too much of a strain on LGA Remember before the fire in LGA they too could've handled CNG's... That fire kinda messed it up for them and then with the addition of MORE routes MORE buses and not enough maintenance to go around that in itself equals disaster waiting to happen But like I said earlier MTAB is now cleaning up house Depot by Depot FR is more like an Annex... Most repairs are still done at JFK.. The day FR can be self-sufficient and do its own major repairs will be a great day over at JFK

No the Artics were in the bays.... The front lot was empty expect for a few OG 07's siting The side lot had MCI's... Some 96 Novas... OG 07s... NG 07s.. Artics sprinkled together lol

So 5205 and 5209 are here... I will try to catch pics of them in the garage tomorrow AM.. Went by the depot earlier tonite but didn't catch any of the 5200s Lots of Artics being worked on tho

That and contracts... The maintanence workers from what I heard from a credible source were purposely not fixing anything and furthermore damaging equipment at LGA.... MTA Bus is cleaning up house NOW depot by depot....

The stops would ease the congestion at Jamaica Center.... People in the morning flock in masses to that train station.... I also would extend the J to Belmont Pk.... The F can stay at 179th... Being that it's a 4 track terminal I would extend one of the 2 QB locals to 179... Since the M is part time... It can continue to be turned at 71st... I would send the R's to 179th Or maybe just do what already being done which is to send E trains up hillside but instead of going all the way to 179... I'd turn them at Parsons Blvd / Hillside Ave using the express tracks so it doesn't bother with F traffic on local tracks All E trains going up Hillside would be express... Union Turnpike followed by Parsons Blvd/Hillside Ave

The only extension I can see making sense would be to finish the Archer Ave extension... Have it go under Merrick or Guy Brewer Blvd... Up the Blvd to Baisley Blvd.. With stops at 109th Ave... Linden Blvd.. And the final stop at Baisley Blvd Rochdale Village
