  1. Teething Problems.... which is common with new busesThe equipment is new the technology is new.... and the drivers were rushed to train on them a lot of Baisley Park Drivers haven't drove a 60 before this XD60 so keep that in mind Your complaining about Buses from Kingsbridge being on West Farms routes lol How about the the fact that they have Jamaica Depot RTS's running up there as well... Kingsbridge is in the Bronx.... Jamaica Depot is miles away from West Farms Think about that for a second Imagine how we Queens riders feel... were short on RTS
  2. Correction its 5418 that's OOS... NOT 5417 Just saw 5417 on the Q113LTD Seagirt bound
  3. 3 BP OOS... Accidents already 5417 I can definitely confirm that Ran into my Road Op this morning on Farmers... He had 3 accident reports with him... All 5400s Didnt get a chance to read them all but 5417 was involved in an accident with a Dollar Van... Van took off the rear bumper and damage to left rear light and side panel from what I was reading... Will get more info by 9:30am this morning ALL 3 accidents happened yesterday
  4. It can work... It would just be a shortened version The new wrap is actually growing on me I like the fact that they are moving forward with merging both bus companies into 1 entity... Doing away with "Bus" and "New York City Bus" just leaving the MTA logo is plain genius... 1 Logo.. 1 Brand Real simple
  5. First and foremost CP doesn't have the Q20 Q31 and Q76... CP is College Point What you really mean is CS (Casey Stengal aka Flushing) Secondly for Jamaica to give up the Q17 they'd have to be getting something back that's equal basically
  6. It is in a sense... But there a couple of things and depots for that matter that are holding up a lot of shifting The C40 recall... Not enough 1999 Novas to go around Eastchester not willing to send those 5100s back to Bklyn as of yet And nothing to send up to WF for them to send back whatever 1999 Novas they have Nobody really wants OGs or NGs at this point Big Dilemma
  7. 1 of 2 could be happening then... Either West Farms isn't doing so good with the RTS they have now and are probably gonna swap them out for some fresher ones or this could be the potential start of a 3 depot swap (JA to WF) just for (WF to ENY) for (ENY to JA) I wish ENY wasn't so anal with what they would and wouldn't take
  8. 4914 and 5135 sent up to West Farms ? I'm not against Jamaica losing RTS but are these permanent moves ? Is Jamaica creating the yard space for 8094-8119 ?
  9. Training units.... BP drivers still aren't fully trained on the XD60 yet I was told this morning from my source that not every driver has had a chance to touch them yet... Once they get finally trained on them and the wraps are completed then we'll start to see some shifting going on between BP and JFK
  10. Agreed the E badly needs to be extended... However the original plan would work just fine... The LIRR ROW is perfect... It can run on that ROW up until the current LIRR Laurelton... Renaming Locust Manor into Farmers Blvd/Rochdale Village And Laurelton renamed to 225th St New stops at Springfield Blvd And right before it comes off the ROW before Linden Blvd... Have a stop on Guy Brewer Blvd It goes underground after that.. Stopping on 109th Ave... And then on to Parsons Archer resuming normal route
  11. I spoke to a couple of good sources that work in BP... They aren't losing the Q64... So we can kill this for now
  12. What does BP get back for giving up the Q64 That's losing runs right there... I'm sure those senior BO's won't be too happy about that
  13. I wonder if they would do a nostalgia ride for the R32s on QBL one last time.... It would nice to see 1 set give the E a final run before they are completely gone for good
  14. First off I didn't come at you... If I did trust me you'd know itThere's no for any type of sensitivity here.... It's not that deep And I DID see the prior comments before making mine... Ill stand firm on my standpoint Jamaica once the depot is rebuilt then they will start to shift routes around... They haven't even broke ground yet so relax... Now if you feel some type of way still inbox me... I'll be more than happy to further elaborate on what I know with you The one thing I'm not gonna do is go back and forth with another man over my hobby.... So your choice.... Inbox me or keep it to yourself
  15. I've heard several different rumors as to why but here's my own opinion The deadhead time from BP to Start point on QM4 and add runs to the depot
  16. Your late... They already found an expansion site for Jamaica Depot... And as far as trying to consolidate BP routes into JA... That's NOT happening buddy so you can get that thought off your mind for the time being
  17. I don't wanna get too excited yet but I would like to assume that the final 18 NGs in Jamaica are finally on there way out
  18. 5398 on Guy R Brewer Blvd training bus Parked up on 115th St... All white scheme... There's also another XD60 in the side lot (old employee parking lot) it's parked up in front of an MCI I couldn't see the numbers but it was also all white schemed
  19. I should've took a picture of it when I saw it on Prospect and 163rd but the rear side panels from what I saw were hanging off and looked scraped up
  20. Archer isn't completed... 63rd St before it connected to QBL wasnt completed... Wasn't 63rd meant for the super bypass line they never built
  21. 4996 not looking too good in WF... Seen earlier on the Bx17 Looks like it was rear ended and they still sent it out for service smh
  22. I predicted this like 2 weeks ago... But in my prediction there's 3 depots involved... Jamaica ENY and Ulmer Park... East NY wants the whole 4800s order.... UP wants RTS if they were to give up those 4800s East NY has LFS's that actually aren't there's but inorder for them to turn them over to Jamaica.... Jamaica would have to give up some RTS in return... I could see Jamaica 5100s in either ENY or UP real soon
