Now if this is true, why the heck would they take Flatbush depot current fleet, what are we getting in return?... We are short in articulated buses during the weekday AM rush hour and sometimes we have to use the XD40s SBS.
Other depots has the XD60 why not grab their buses?......
Working last night flatbush yard the following buses were listed to be placed on hold for scrap

Majority of the sbs46 bus stop has been modify and reconstructed for Articulated buses. They either made the stops platform longer or moved the stop to a much more convenient location just so the articulated bus can position properly.
Good Morning folks. Good luck to you all that will be tested on Day 9. If you need help and you're going to day 10?... You can always contact me by private messaging me and we can meet up on Saturday while I'm on duty on the B41 ((Most interactive line in Brooklyn)) just to show a few things you are struggling with.
Okay let me rephrase that, Manhattan is not easier compared to other boroughs. The reason I stated that Day 9 should be easier, its because on Day 5 the students are taken to uptown Manhattan and Day 9 will be in the upper Manhattan location.
Yup...Not a lot of run, but I can see this going to be an annoying route to pick going in circles like crazy. According to the weekend paddle, Reminds me of the B2 and B31 run.
There has been a slight changes with the training process and Superintendents. Some of the new sets has been more teaching friendly instead being rough and tough. After certain amount of years, they rotate the instructors where some gets promoted to a higher position such as "Accident Investigator", or "General Superintendent" for depot operations or road operations. Right now at Flatbush Depot, the new General Superintendent Transportation was a 19A Superintendent Instructor for the 10 day training. I know another Superintendent that use to do the 7-10 day training recently got promoted to Assistance General Superintendent for road operations, which is a higher rank from the previous position held. So I believe things are becoming less rough and more teaching with a few of the new instructors they have in place.
Yesterday April 23, 2019 was Day 6 and Today April 24, 2019 is day 7. Both Day 8 and 9 are usually a Thursday and Friday and they give the weekend off and returned back to Zerega on Monday for Day 10. Depending on the week and weather condition are subject to change.
I'm sorry you had to go through this Young, You are very humble and I really hope you get over on this side NYCT as a Bus operator very soon.
I believe Day 6 route has been modify a little bit, not sure the exact details, but I heard they made a slightly change on the tour.
Anyone from the recent classes can confirm this?.....
Before the job.
And just to give a friendly reminder, while on the job its your duty to protect that license since transit will monitor your license all the time. They even pay to renew your CDL when your license expired, so that should tell you how close they monitor your driver license. The state is expecting you to be professional while you are off duty driving your personal vehicle while employed with MTA.
Than you should be good to go. I know someone who's operating a bus right now had 9 points and his CDL was revoke..... I don't know how he managed to get it back but now he's operating out of E NY depot.
Only about 15 runs during rush hour time will only be operating Articulated buses during the weekdays. There is no guarantees that those 15 XD40 will remain at the depot since the bush has always been the depot they take away buses to loan other depots.
So the 15 buses that is "Supposedly" going into local service will be enough? I bet some of those buses will ended up going to another depot for loaner like it always has been when it comes to FB fleet.
This coming Monday, just to get a clearer clarification, I will walk in the G.S.T. and G.S.M office to ask some questions about the fleets and figure out how things are manage when it comes to decision to who received newer buses versus who doesn't. Since they state operators are freely walk in the management office to ask question and etc, I will do the honor to get some clarification regarding these decisions.
