  1. They talked too much chit on the forums and got a reputation and management put a target on their heads. Remember, when you are probation you can get canned for pretty much any reason.
  2. Let's see how many people pass PROBATION. That's the hard part. 19 out of 20 passed schoolcar from my class, but 3 more lost their jobs in the period between schoolcar and the 2nd year, and one more who got their probation extended and might not make it through either.
  3. I get $27 taken every paycheck, and theyve been collecting ever since day 1.
  4. They need to show the A to Rock Park because the Shuttle gets suspended during the intervals that the showcase A's runs, so it's the only service available.
  5. Usually, but this one is scheduled to run through Dec 23. This is actually the ONLY weekend GO currently on the radar for December (unless you want to count Knickerbocker being closed and the usual viaduct stuff). The is the bah-humbug line......
  6. Anyone want to take a guess as to why this GO is gonna be in effect for pretty much the rest of 2012 beginning the first weekend of November? The way the mta site writes it up is misleading. 's will actually be operating betweeen DYRE and Flatbush, with shuttle trains between 241 and 180. Service operates in two sections: 1. Between 241 St and E 180 St 2. Between E 180 St* and Flatbush Av • Transfer between trains at E 180 St to continue your trip. * trains replace the between Dyre Av and E 180 St during this time. service suspended completely
  7. All trains need to stop at 125 so they can punch. I saw pokipsee waiting at 42 St when my came through a couple intervals ahead of it. It was probably the first in a while since the intervals ahead of mine got rerouted to the west side, and they finally decided to send us normal as we were coming into Atlantic-Pacific. Yes, 1666 on the south. I want to see these vids!
  8. Car 1666 (with the north facing RFW). My T/O informed me that we had foamers outside his cab who later identified themselves as NYCTFers.
  9. Alright, which one of you were filming at the head end of my 7 earlier this afternoon?
  10. Trust me, you don't want to be sticking your dick in anyone willing to have sex on the subway......
  11. Yes, it was 4857 entering LIC Yard tk 12 at 3:55pm. At 6:50 it was "dragged" to the Montauk by a switching engine and got re-railed at 9:50. All LIC trains were cancelled and some started from Jamaica instead. There is still track/switch damage in the yard.
  12. It was a train leaving LIC tk 12, fouling the whole yard, according to the IRS report.....
  13. Derailment in LIC Yard at 4pm today. All Hunters Pt trains got cancelled, and all NYP diesels made an extra stop at Woodside.
  14. A MNRR train with *10* coaches???? BOMB TO THE MAX!!!!!
  15. Here's a thought for you. Not only is the not going to be running to Bowling Green any other weekends in 2012, but the won't be running AT ALL on weekends beginning November 3 through the end of the year! The will be running Dyre-Flatbush via West Side, with a shuttle between 241-E180.
  16. SAFETY SENSITIVE TITLE gives them a lot of extra leeway with what they can ask or demand......
  17. Huh? There's no train that only runs to Mt Vernon East. If there were, it would be nicknamed The Foamers Delight. They did run the ACMUs to MVE on the farewell trip....
  18. At least one? When I last regularly rode the G, the WHOLE fleet was 68's. What are they running now?
  19. May 13, 2013 is the current scheduled date for the first R188 revenue run on the 7. I'm sure there's about a 0.15% chance of them sticking to that date though.
  20. Man, this forum just proves that smoking just leads to trouble! Everybody quit RIGHT NOW.
  21. That 3:30PM out of Flatbush is almost NEVER an express run in the Bronx. By the time it gets to 3 Av, there are still LITE trains coming down the middle track, which deadhead to the Bowling Green loop and get used as gap trains for the PM rush. They don't start running the express trains until the last southbound train has cleared the middle track, so it's really more like the 3:55PM out of Flatbush. Also note that those N/B trains that terminate at E180 at the end of the AM rush sometimes make an express run from 3 Av-E180 if there's a 2 right behind it. And those last Brooklyn S/Bs can terminate at either Utica or New Lots depending on where they want to lay it up and if they will make a connection to a 3 at Utica. Crews are instructed to sign up the trains as going to Utica unless/until we are told otherwise, even though the countdown clocks all announce New Lots, which often leads to disputes with the customers when we actually try to clean out the trains. You didn't touch on the whole Nereid-bound 5 train issue. Those trains will fill in whatever White Plains Rd service is needed at the time. If it makes a connection with a 2 at E180, the 5 will most likely get sent up the middle to Gun Hill Rd and either terminate, or cross over to the local after Gun Hill and make the rest of the stops to 238. And if there's no 2 in sight, it will make all local stops to 241 and get sent back south as a 2 (241 finally caught on to Flatbush's tricks!)
