  1. Two proposals. One is to straighten the B14 to run down Sutter Avenue's full length and reroute in to Rockaway Boulevard since I learned few people use it to the Postal Facility. Also the straightening is to make the route more reliable as it makes lots of unnecessary turns. Also I revised my proposal about the B20 and B83. Instead of having the B83 replacing the B20, the only change made to it would be taking it off Van Siclen Avenue. B20 would also be truncated to Myrtle Avenue/Decatur Street as no one uses it to Forest Avenue and be rerouted onto Van Siclen Avenue instead of having the B83 run down there. 2. Again, I didn't propose this, the DOT proposed Q66 to Little Neck via Q12 combination. The only thing I suggested was having a detour on Main Street to retain the train transfer. Since length doesn't turn out to be a problem, the Benefit is that it would give Northern Boulevard a through route that serves it. But again, the first thing that should be done is add SBS and articulated buses to improve service. And at Main Street, the buses would layover for 2 minutes before continuing to either Little Neck or Long Island City.
  3. Well it would do Main Street -> 39 Avenue -> Prince Street-> Roosevelt Avenue-> Main Street just like most buses that terminate in Flushing use to turn around (although I really think they should build an underground bus terminal for all those buses).
  4. EDIT: Disregard what I said above, actually that problem could be fixed by making buses detour down Main Street to Roosevelt Avenue then it turns around to continue on Northern Boulevard. However If the Q66 does get sent (almost certainly with a Q12 combo) to Little Neck, again I would add SBS and Artics.
  5. I'm not falling for troll bait. I knew he was a troll all along. Meh, he should go die in a hole just like any other one.
  6. Well that'a another problem. Although on the bright side it wouldn't have to go through that mess on Main Street, it makes it a longer walk for those who want the (although people could still use it at Queens Plaza). So that is a good point.
  7. Okay let's forget that jackassery happened and start a related discussion instead. What do you guys think about making the Q66 a through Northern Boulevard by combining it with the Q12 and having it run from Long Island City to Little Neck which would make it really long (12-15 miles). I know the DOT proposed it already. I have mixed thoughts about this. I think it looks like a good idea to have the Q66 serve all of Northern Boulevard but at the same time I'm concerned that it's length may make it unreliable. So what do you guys think and also I think what should be done before something like this is even planned is having limited/SBS added to the Q66.
  8. Why do I keep talking about him? Because he's on our f**king computer screens trolling this site and it pisses me off!
  9. 1. Well most of the people here are male so I assumed he is one even though be never told his gender (like that matters anyway) 2. Again, as long as they don't get in my business then they are fine And to answer that question, that isn't necessary and you could walk to Parsons Boulevard to catch the . And too many people use the Q44 to it's current end for it to be truncated even only to Sutphin Boulevard.
  10. Especially because of how many times I heard that before, yes I did.
  11. I never said anything anti-gay and I don't have a problem with gays as long as they stay out of my business. I said that to Q23 because he said that the people who talk about Vtrain were trying to make love with him or something and I found that disgusting.
  12. quote name="bobtehpanda" post="702592" timestamp="1376161568"] 1. That's not a troll, and some of his ideas weren't that terrible. 2. There have been times on this thread where you have been banging your head about some notion that virtually everyone has disproved, such as "X road is too narrow for buses!" Being hardheaded is worse than just abandoning the thread (and then cursing everyone else who disagrees with you is a cherry on the cake at that point)
  13. Like I said before NOBODY can come up with ideas that are perfect. And I at least explain why I propose changes, he just goes on this forum like a troll and posts some ridiculous idea right out of the blue without at least explaining why and never replies back to the comments he gets. Also I get verbally abusive at times because I have some anger issues. Okay nobody here is gay and I gave an example on who proposes bullshit ideas like CPMan said.
  14. I don't say every post I dislike is shit, it pretty much depends on the user who made it on how I'll react to it.
  15. Why does that matter to you if I talk about Vtrain. He's a f**king ass and he really needs to stop posting troll like bullshit in this forum and I used him as an example to prove CPMan's point.
  16. That's what happens when you start bus idea threads like these. Especially Vtrain's proposals for example are jackshit and he doesn't even respond to criticism or at least give reasons as to why he proposes them smh. I mean it's okay to make an idea and it isn't all that good (after all nobody's perfect) but you can explain as to why you did it and have at least decent knowledge about demand and coverage in areas.
  17. Just to keep it simple, everything about the current Q38 is a problem.
  18. It's a problem on a narrow two way street like Penelope Avenue when a bus utilizes it.
  19. Well I did apologize for the outburst and at least I wouldn't suggest a bus with an unreliable route. And Holly Avenue is only a small section. And about the Q36, yeah I watched a video about that, it took like 3 minutes at least to make that turn. Also I apologize for my ignorance about buses being on narrow streets but the thing with Penelope is that it does get traffic at times which is a problem. That was about the Q18 straightening, nothing to do with the Q47.
  20. I NEVER said I wanted to reroute the Q47! I said I wouldn't mind if the Q18 got straightened and that happened.
  21. It's called the Q54 and even then the train would be faster than that unreliable routing. Also sorry I cursed you out, I was just in a bad mood from being stressed out.
  22. On a separate note, that would be a good idea if the Q18 was straightened on 65 Place (which should happen). However Calamus and 79 Street are still slightly wider than Penelope Avenue and and it's also doesn't have traffic. I've been on Penelope Avenue via riding the Q38 and that street does tend to get congested at times due to it's narrowness.
