  1. I finally got a chance to study this Brooklyn re-design plan and something strikes me with this B10/B12 plan. First off why the split? The B12 does very well and doesn't need a split in my own opinion. Although, direct Empire Blvd bus service is being addressed. However, it shouldn't be on the B12's expense. This B10 should run to City line- Grant/Sheridan. and give Liberty Avenue back it's rightful bus service. There should be no reason that portion of East New York/Cypress Hills doesn't have bus service and that needs addressing. The Q24 is simply not enough. No surprise that Metro/Grandview service is being cut. That's always been in the plans for the MTA for quite a while. Even when the service was exclusive to Fresh Pond Depot you saw less metro/grandview buses than you saw more Seneca/Cornelia and Seneca and Catalpa. This here is a lost opportunity to have a crosstown SBS run down Dekalb via Metro/Grandview. This here, I'm a bit confused and conflicted on how this gonna work. Good luck trying to convince Community board 18 with this proposal. (Especially for Bergen Beach patrons that live along the 41) I'll go thru more later. However, these are the first 3 that really interested me.
  2. FLA has been on the good graces with the DOB for quite sometime. Especially in the maintenance department.
  3. Last checked OF has to stay within that 150 limit and that's been the agreement between the community and the MTA. I don't think the community will budge on this. Hence why I see some spares going down to Flatbush. However, all bets are off once the electric fleet come into OF. The electric fleet will provide flexibility for OF to have close to 200+ buses at the depot and not have to worry about community opposition. Also for FB, I could possibly see some de-commissioning of some 2017 XD60's and transferred to Ulmer Park, Grand Avenue or Casey Stengel since FB will pick up a fair share of the 2019's from OF.
  4. Unless I'm missing something OF is under spacing constraints... Which would mean OF gets both M15SBS and M60SBS with a decent amount of spares.. I could see some spares going to Flatbush (Not alot of units) to alleviate spacing at OF.. (Correct me on this please if I've got it wrong)
  5. 1371. Delivered/in revenue service at College Point Depot.
  6. 7975 (confirmed) at Ulmer Park depot in revenue service. Unit operating on the B6.. Ulmer Park now complete XD40 2022 order. (20 units)
  7. Appreciate the clarification good brother.. Didn't know the unit moved since early summer.
  8. 2500.. Charleston to Castelton.. Unit was spotted working the SIM33c Yesterday during PM rush.
  9. Copy for the clarification. I wanted to know if it’s a mid-day supplement or occasional SAA.
  10. I would consider 2499 as a transfer to Castelton only b/c CH only has a 1 mid-day, and I think 1 PM rush hour trip on the SIM3c to Midtown. I could possibly be wrong on the PM rush hour trip tho.
  11. 7927.. Delivered/in revenue service at East New York Depot. Unit currently on B14
  12. 7910.. Delivered/in revenue service at East New York Depot.
  13. I've never seen a school supplement for Ulmer Park on the B49 and if there's one on the 49 how far does it go? I currently live in Sheepshead Bay along the 49 route and I've never seen a Ulmer Park bus in revenue service on the 49. The other 3 routes are correct.
  14. Please disregard 4461 for scrap out of Queens Village. Unit was in scheduled maintenance and has returned to revenue service effective today per an update I’ve received.
  15. 7923.. Delivered/in revenue service at East New York Depot.. Unit is currently on the Q56
  16. Apparently, 4518 has been sent to Baisley Park. However, just want to confirm all others on this list are officially scrapped?
  17. Just by looking at the list.. I think 4517 may be BP bound (soon).. All others could be in maintenance pending to return back to service and or heading to MTA bus..
  18. 4409: Fresh Pond to SCRAP 4094, 4461: Queens Village to SCRAP 4481: Stengel to SCRAP 3512: JFK to SCRAP
  19. My guess is Baisley Park along with it's comrades: 4520, 4523, 4525.. 7919 Delivered/In revenue service at East New York Depot. Unit was on the B83 earlier today
  20. That's a copy.. For me, I'm like you.. Once I see a visual of it. I can confirm it as a revenue service vehicle.
