    Doesn’t matter. Stengel does not need the units. Whether or not the delivery is slow or not. I understand they sent units to LaGuardia and some to scrap. However, at the end of the day sorry to say Stengel routes outside the Q12, Q20A/B, Q44 and maybe the Q48 only do the bare minimum.

    So in the reality can a unit go up to 700, 800K with no serious maintenance issues and won't go OOS? and can the bus mechanics or depot maintenance have the final say to when buses hit over 500K to be deemed scrap?

    I'd like to see this policy please... Because, if you are hearing this by hearsay I strongly suggest you stop and try to get your information from reputable sources.. Also, although the 500K may be the threshold for the buses. These buses can still be used pending no serious and outlying maintenance issues. There are said 12xx buses that are currently running over 500K with no serious issues.

    Meaning having the Q4/QM64 go down Elmont Road to Hempstead Tpk??? Knowing that area very well traffic could be overkill during the AM/PM rush especially with the schools in the area. However, I think this could work with good marketing. Worse case scenario. Leave as is on Elmont Road & Linden Blvd. I hope the TA could revisit the North Shore University Hospital- Manhasset to Jamaica via Hillside. Make it a super express (rush hours, mid-days, and evenings until 11PM)

    I don't think 9852 is in The Bronx yet... Bus is still at the vendor in Secaucus as of this writing and bus is likely to head Manhattan bound once necessary work is finished on the unit.

    copy.. My guess is long maintenance (possible new engine) like 4594- FB. However, overall guess bus is scrap.

    4572 hasn't ran in a few weeks (might be on long maintenance).. Let me get more information on that unit.. 4577 is definitely gone.
