Since I notice how people normally don't take time lapses for buses I gave it a shot. Now I know why ... I had 2 instances in Manhattan where my camera mount fell and another where I ran out of memory. At least I had a friendly B/O who was nice enough to let me film. I'm definitely going to try this again to get a complete version. Especially because I have an idea to show people the different sides of the city with this time lapse. As well as some music that goes along with it that I didn't get to add unfortunately.

Honestly I know I'm gonna get hate but the X10 really doesn't cut it for me I many have only been on it once but a late bus only picked up a total of 5 passengers 3 of which came from an over crowded X1. I honestly don't understand why there's more service on that line than the X17 which was packed at around the same time. TBH I feel there should either be a cut or the bsu should be replaced with the X12

I seem to currently still like the X1 but I do also notice that the X10 has considerably less people

That's less than half its only 1/3 and with the Q44 (which is much more popular) also there along with the Q20A should be able to handle the riders, it pretty light anywhere south of the van wyck

Reliability (could save 3 to 4 buses), adds a subway connection, makes up for the Q74 which was eliminated but since the Q20B also hits Flushing, it shouldn't have as much ridership problems as the Q74, also Q20 ridership below Union is fairly light the Q20A and Q44 can handle the lost of the Q20B with little effect.

Here's an idea re-route all Q20B buses to the Kew gardens Sta via Union Turnpike Q20A unaffected

can't deny that This includes express buses, it's just not as bad.

I mean some of the buses especially at CP are just as filthy as the subway if not (more mostly because I ride the and always take the single R188 car in every train)

If they were to re number the express routes, they should re name the X route to match MTAB, because the letters specify what borough the bus goes to. Having them all X makes it confusing for passengers and defeats the purpose of having a letter in front of a route all together.

Form the Pm rush most of the buses were back to normal the Q44+SBS+ from what I saw was all artics but still bunching

The Q44 were using their old non SBS destination signs I saw a Q44LTD to Flushing and a Q44 local to flushing right before the suspension.

when there is an overflow of passengers where passengers end up passed the white line the novas can hold a lot more ppl than the xd 40's can

LFS has more capacity than XD40's Out of all the buses the old LFS with the back windows usually have the best ride quality of the the new generation of buses (XD40's, LFS, 3G, C40LF) idk about the new LFS because I haven't been on enough of them

it not even about looks all Queens NYCT depos handle pretty much the toughest and most demanding line and the LFS does a much better job than the XD40's which are better for cities that don't get many people riding their buses probably could survive the downtown Manhattan routes because they really don't get too crowded.
