  1. Well, I saw a new emotcion (sasV) Or not, thought I saw a blue in one of the other threads
  2. I see the effects of the bottleneck EVERY DAY (except weekends and days where are no school). and the answer to your question would be that it depends. As long you're not replacing one sharp curve with another
  3. what, I knew that it was unrealistic (and A COMPLETE FANTASY) but I still gave my best efforts
  4. * Well, i've been talking to my friend about what if the MTA renovated Chambers St * but he opposed, saying that money plays a factor, it would take too long to renovate, and that doing that would kinda destroy the "historical feeling" of the station, and that the MTA is nearly broke * I state that if Chambers WAS renovated, it have to be done under the history preservation act * he agrees to that factor, but uses the other reasons to state it's opposition saying that it's not worth it * I say that during renovation they can run a single track shuttle between Fulton Center and Broad St and that most people are headed to midtown * he cringes * the conversation continues * but I'm not gonna post that
  5. I'd support this proposal if it weren't for the fact that I must get off at Norwood Avenue to go to school. but, hey I have Euclid and the Q24 At least, other than that I still support this. : )
  6. you're crazy but here's how I'd do it rebuild Roosevelt into THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TRANSIT HUB and build the with 4 tracks at this part. Keeping it elevated have the terminate at south ferry from 96 ST and from 3 Av to wakefield terminates at 14 St or suspended from 161 St - Woodlawn with boosted service and run from Nevis or Grand Central - Flatbush and New Lots becomes a shuttle (Dyre Avenue Shuttle) pull that out of the tunnel to livonia and the person can be taken out of the hospital terminates at Queens Plaza and terminates at 21 St remains as 4 Av shuttle or replaced by the with rerouted to SAS Boosted Broadway, 6 Av and Nassau Service runs with delays
  7. heh, so will that mean that if Alstom or kawasaki win the contract, the R211 could potentially have the siemens propulsion
  8. I CAUGHT THE R179 ON MY WAY HOME FROM SCHOOL https://youtu.be/kyamAL9cRTo By the way I did record this video. I wasn't fully prepared for it either though.
  9. The locigal way to fix that is in this article http://www.vanshnookenraggen.com/_index/2016/11/fixing-the-myrtle-broadway-problem/ However, let's not get off topic
  10. Who knows, I just know that when we bring RBB up, I'm on team subway no Matter what. Also, I admit that it would give me an excuse to take the to school because the Skip Stop service can be a piece of crap at times, ESPCIALLY in the morning rush when I'm just trying to get to school on time
  11. Well, this thread has been dead for more than a month, I'm assuming that t he re was no news in a while
  12. Come to think of it, my scenario warrants a proposal to renovate the Nassau Corridor
  13. Come to think of it, I said something similar a few pages back
  14. Well you're not wrong. All Woodhaven Boulevard stations would need to be rebuilt. A bus hub in my opinion would eventually be needed on Queens and Woodhaven Boulevards respectively. As for the fact that RBB needs to connect to QBL locals, let's use that up to your advantage. And like I said earlier. BOTH SUBWAY AND BUS SERVICE NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED
  15. Well, I see that this thread became an argument pretty quickly. Someone mentioned here about turning RBB into a trunk line. I think it was either @Deucey or someone else. You just lit up an idea in my head As for the to Forest Hills debate and QBL local tracks not at full capacity.. As a rider of the Queens Blvd trunk line and seeing how LIC and Greenpoint have been developing over the years I agree to re extending it. Your only obstacle would be capacity. BTW, Forest Hills is a Trashy terminal and by trashy I mean inefficient. as for RBB, it would be nice to have as I said earlier (or someone else) it gives us a chance to build a new trunk line for a cheap price. I'm pretty sure that WE CAN ALL AGREE that both subway and bus service need to be improved. That's all I have to say for now
  16. How about someone struck on the southbound Dekalb platform
  17. New scenario Sick Passager at the Times Square platform Track fire at Grand Central platform Someone struck by a train at Dekalb platform. Investigation because of a car accident on the Manhattan Bridge. (Could affect either side of the bridge) train breaks down at the 149 St Junction And Infrastructure begins falling apart in the Chambers platform Reroute trains
  18. Speaking of NYTM relocation, I remember Makinga thread on that Preferably (with sea level rise in consideration) I'd move the NYTM to the LIRR long Island City station since it's VERY underutilized. From there you can build a new building and have a connection to the Queens Bypass and 63 Street. I chose this option due to how close it is to Midtown Manhattan and the fact that if I put it in long Island City, it would be attractive and more well known to tourist. All you have to do from there is advertise.
  19. I don't think the other two set started the 30 Day acceptance test at all. The 10 car train is still testing and god knows what happened to the other one
