  1. I got a question about the abandoned platform at Hunters Point Av. What was it before it was abandoned and Sunnyside Yards is a mess in my opinion
  2. There are 2 on the line. I caught one this morning on my way to school
  3. Ah that's right, thanks (can't react anymore for the day) At the end of the day, subway extension is the MOST feasible, especially since you bring up the fact that the is on the southern half and the provisions on the Northern Half And the Queensway (despite the "growing support") is more of a dream instead of a reality. It's just a bunch of people complaining about trains if you think about it
  4. So we should expect 42 cars in MTA property, I had to break down the order you had to make this easier for me.
  5. Hey in my defense I just made a prediction and It got out of hand from there. @R42N I was being sincere about that apology, but when I said that we were bringing it up again, I was going to point out a fact (despite my opinions) I don't care where they go as long as the MTA makes the logical and best choice (which is not under my jurisdiction). And as for there retirement, Sure I'll miss them but I'm not a foamer (despite how immature I can be). And one last point, I didn't start this mess. I see your point, but I'm no foamer I just realized that I'm late and this conversation ended so my bad
  6. Since I see that we are talking about the R32's (again) and where to assign them. I'd still like to bring up the fact that by the time ALL R179's are in service. The MTA does not plan to keep ALL of their R32's and I'm unsure of the R42'same since the R179's are supposed to replace that too. Did the plans Change?
  7. Speaking of NTT's. You know how a few R68's on the have NTT-like features? What if these were features installed in a couple more R68 sets? Then (not gonna mention the fleet cause of what happened with the Canarsie fleet swap thread) could be moved out in favor of these retrofitted R68's plus the R179's for the then, your statement would be justified. Sadly, I don't think the wants to upgrade any more R68's
  8. I have to agree with you as well, speaking of which I have to study for my upcoming final's for the first semester. Oh, what's your favorite video game? Guess we did get out of hand and on behalf of the forums I sincerely apologize. yup
  9. Assuming that this is post Myrtle Viaduct reconstruction. Scenario 1 service is limited via 8 Avenue and Culver (downtown) downtown trains via Broadway Express and West End Metropolitan - 71 via 8 Avenue and 53 St Scenario 2 trains run local from Canal St to 59 St Columbus Circle Scenario 3 trains terminate at 21 St or Greenpoint Ave
  10. Has the R179 order been truly modified and if so can someone give me a document proving this
  11. Yeas you can. Pay close attention to the outside shell of 8277-8280
  12. I guess that only half of those riders don't even care, I'd put some R68's there with NTT modifications. Some of them would be displaced from the
  13. I agree with this, I think the R179 should be CBTC ready (if not already) in case a set or 2 need to go to QBL

  15. Caught one R179 set today on my way home and by the time I reached 121st Street I saw the other R179 set on its way to Manhattan on the
  16. Have you been on QBL? Queens bypass (with or without CBTC) would be beneficial regardless. Unless you imply connecting it to RBB in a post CBTC QBL otherwise that would be an idiodic thing to say in an alternate timeline
  17. 2 tracks were supposed to be the 6th Avenue Express and the other 2 were supposed to be the 8 Avenue local via Worth Street
  18. Huh, noticed it before. I pass by it every morning on my way to school FACTS! to 179 and to Jamaica Center or 179 and you'll have a flexible local service
