  1. I remember a lady getting on the X10 in Lower Manhattan (The infamous 3:20 PM trip that skips the Narrows Road. The B/O had to shout, "First Stop, Slosson Ave" at every single stop). The lady only had cash on her so the B/O said, "Maybe someone can sell you a swipe". She managed to set someone on the bus to sell her a swipe. (Isn't that illegal?)
  2. How do you even farebeat on an express bus, right in front of the driver's face, getting on and off the bus?
  3. Just saw a SI bound X10 signed up as a X10B. Never knew X10B's ran reverse peak😂
  4. https://photos.app.goo.gl/93DTNRBZVrzFR7W67 here's a pic
  5. What's with the X17c's having "Via New Jersey" on the destination sign?
  6. Just saw an express bus deheading as an Bx6 SBS, @SevenEleven was that you?
  7. Question, After the SI express bus redesign takes effect, does anyone know if the going to do the SI local buses or go straight to the Bronx?
  8. Fixed, the S83 now runs nonstop from Clove/Victory to Broadway/Forest and makes all S93 stops south of Clove/Victory.
  9. The only thing is that I wanted to give the stop near Wagner College and the Fountains Apartments some LTD bus service.
  10. Can you guys sign my petition to have an S83 service created? That would be great! https://www.change.org/p/joseph-j-lhota-bring-s83-limited-stop-service-to-staten-island?recruiter=891428278&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petition
  11. A local bus on an express route? How did people react when that pulled up?
  12. Same with Staten Island, in the past few days, Yukon and Charleston were helping out with the X21, Charleston just finished the X10B and the S44 and Castleton is doing the S79 SBS.
  13. I'm on 2887 and I'm surprised that it still has a working beakie box. Haven't saw those in a long time.
  14. I was looking at the LIRR 2018 schedules and they still say transfer to the M34 and M16 at Penn Station. SMH.
  15. Here are the steps to getting the SIM schedules. 1. Download the "Transit App" (offline timetables) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tapgap.transit 2. When prompted to chose a city, click on "New York". 3. Click on "Routes" in the drag down menu from the left. 4. Scroll down untill you see the SIM routes. 5. Choose you're stop combo and choose the date (It won't show anything if you put the date before August 19, 2018). And you should be done.
  16. IMO, I rather have the SIM4X/8X start at the ETC, make one stop at the Mall park and ride and then go straight to Manhattan.
  17. On the play store, it's called Transit Tracker. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hillman.mtatracker
  18. IMO, I would eliminate the S61 and S62 during the rush hour and bring back the S67. The S67 serves the local portion on Victory Blvd and also gives Westerleigh a one seat ride to the ferry.
  19. Sounds like a good idea, but that would take away the 's "perfect plan" to send all buses to either downtown, midtown or 14th Street. Maybe if they had a downtown variant and a midtown variant. That might work. Unless if they want to do something like the X14 in Manhattan, serving both midtown and downtown.
  20. Idk why the couldn't split up the Sunnyside and Rosebank portions of the SIM30 and make that into an express route to downtown or midtown via Brooklyn.
  21. Or they might ditch the express bus and start driving. Which hopefully doesn't happen.
  22. I was going home on the X14 today and due to traffic on the FDR, The B/O got off at South St. and took the local streets to Water St. Was a bit of a change.
  23. I think it was one of the 1200's, The ad is a bit more colorful.
