  1. to be exact, all to 96th St, but vandals signed some as "(SI)" () and to 179 St.
  2. It would only fix the headway "problems" of the Rockaways getting every train instead of missing every 2nd/3rd train. It would only further interline with the at Euclid Avenue and Rockaway Blvd.
  3. watch this code be R179 and R211A exclusive lol
  4. What in the world happened to 4335-4339??
  5. I really don't understand why they don't get rid of the IRT in Concourse. Especially with scrap trains in Concourse I truly don't understand.
  6. I would love it if Concourse gets R211s instead of R160s, now that will be interesting!!!
  7. 6046-6049, 6202-6205 Pitkin to Coney Island 1496-1500, 1516-1520 240th to Livonia
  8. 6046-6049 and 6202-6205 have been transferred to COney Island
  9. R62's 1496-1500, and 1516-1520 have been sent back to Livonia , with 1326-1330, and 1351-1355 remaining at 240th. It seems that the singles at Corona will be going back to Westchester, and the SMS program with 240th's R62As is proceeding at a much slower pace, with 3 sets currently MIA (1846-1850, 1851-1855, 2311-2315). Sooner or later, 1826-1830 may return back to 240th.
  10. Given 6046/6202 transferring to Coney Island, it may just happen in due time.
  11. The more recent SMS’d 240th R62A have been painted a new grey color as well compared to the silver they were originally painted with when they first got SMS. Example shown here. I believe they were repainting the R62As this same color around 2018? A few cars like 2196, 2200 (Shown here), 2211-2213, 2215, 2411, 2415, 2416, 2420, and 2421-2425 have had their bonnet repainted this color. Majority of the SMS’d sets still have the silver color including the B cars.
  12. 5962-5965, 6130-6133 have been retired bringing PKYD’s retired count to 32, and the R46s overall 36. 6 sets of R46s are on hold for missing parts, or just simply out of service at both yards. 4 sets for PKYD and 2 for CIYD.
  13. Soon wouldn’t be the accurate term. Looks like the R62-R68As will be here for at least another 10 years.
  14. Any reason why this occurred?
  15. Because it could back up trains, which can also delay trains, which directly runs with the trains.
  16. Concourse washes their own, and Jerome's trains sometimes.
  17. 2411-2415 is back at 240th, there's atleast 4 SMSed R62As sets yet to return to service at 240th
  18. I don't even think the prods can run with the pilot R211s atm.
  19. I caught a hot car on the yesterday, 2449. That particular car always has A/C issues for years. Now that 2196-2200 have gotten SMS, and 2426-2430 is slated to get it, hopefully 2199 and 2429's A/C's improve.
  20. Surprised 6186-89+5894-97 and 2768-2775 weren't reported
  21. I doubt the PKYD 46's are in worse shape...
